This thread has made me realize I don't remember the last time I mopped. Guess what's happening tonight! 😂

When I see the dirty spots or when my feet start sticking to it, which ever comes first.

i mop clean up spills as i go and we don't wear our shoes in the house... but i don't have a mopping schedule. i do it when i needs it, in conjunction to when i have time.
if it needs it and i have no time, i avert my eyes.

Get outta here with your nightly mopping routine, you freaks! I would say as needed except I think I mop less than that. Lol This made me LOL, and it best sums up my mopping routine! And you know I scrolled right through the replies to find yours before I replied, don't you?!?!

Often enough to keep the kitchen cleaner than a truck stop ... barely. LOL

No set schedule. Vacuuming is almost a daily thing in the main living area. I spot mop throughout the week and if I have time on the weekend, I use the steam mop.

Kitchen 2x a week
Bathrooms 1x a week unless someone is sick, then daily until better (diarrhea, stomach flu)
Entry way 1x a week
Now if we have guest coming over, I will mop the morning before they come.

We have hardwood in the kitchen, dining area, and living room. Tile in the bathroom, and carpet in family room and bedrooms.
I use a Norwex mop head and Bona when the mood strikes. About once per week, sometimes less frequently. Supposedly my cleaning person does it too, every two weeks. I don’t vacuum or clean the bathroom floor weekly. I leave that to the cleaning person.
I love a clean house and have been working various deep cleaning projects like a fiend while I’m not working full time this summer, but there are definitely things I can let go.

My cleaning lady mops my tile floor very well every 4 weeks. In between we run a robot vac daily and spot clean as needed. My house is always clean enough for people to show up without warning.

Never....the cleaners come once a week. I know they do my hardwood floors, I assume they do the bathroom floors as well.

The cleaning ladies mop the hardwood and tile every other week. I either vacuum or sweep them quite a bit (2 cats and a dog), but only spot clean when something gets spilled (or puked by the cats). Why would you mop the entire kitchen when there's only a spill on one square foot of it? We're not licking the floors, I don't care if they're clean enough to eat off. I run a damp swiffer over them in the winter because the dog tracks in salt from outside -- but I pretty much follow her footprints around.

I’m pretty particular about cleaning and organizing, but not to a ‘mop every day’ level. With not pets, no small children, and no messy adults - mopping is only needed once a week at best.

Dh does the mopping. We have wood floors downstairs. I sweep throughout the week. He vacuums them once a week and uses Bona to mop them about once every two weeks.
I do the upstairs the master bath and I don't mop the floor but maybe once a month (by hand). DD does her bathroom. Gosh knows when she last mopped the floor, haha....

What's a mop? We have a Roomba that I set off every couple of days. DH actually mops - probably not often enough though. But there is just three of us here now, and no pets. And we clean up any spills or spots immediately.

Every other week when the cleaning lady comes. Obviously as needed for pet messes. Otherwise I might Swiffer and spot clean the bathrooms if the planets are in alignment and I've reached the end of the internet.
