Oh, the colors in those flowers are to die for! Seriously though, right? They are what sent me officially over the edge. Still hoping they perk up a little. trim them just a bit, rinse under some cool water and put clean water in the vase. I do this with the flower share I get every other week and they last a good 10 days. ETA: trim them a little each day |

My family is out of town for four days. Even a bad day is a good day when you have the house to yourself.
Those days do pop up sometimes. I can tell when I want to bitch at my husband and generally place myself in a time out. But now you have given me the idea of what to hand him when I want to tell him to go off himself and it isn't a gift certificate.

Well you can't just write an intriguing into like this (you were all shaking your heads and covered in blood?!) and not tell us what the heck happened. Are you all okay? Do you work in an ER? We don't work in the ER but do work in a hospital and there was a trauma of sorts. I should have just stayed quiet, I'm sorry! Just don't want to give any identifying details, HIPAA and whatnot :/ I totally get it-about the Hippa laws. No, I think it's great you posted-the more the merrier. Just wanted to make sure you were okay.  |

Good call on the Margs, quac, chips and salsa. Not much that can't fix.
I'm feeling like a heel because I told dh I would pick him and his buddies up at LAX. Traffic to get there says 1.5 hours - normal is about an hour, and 2 plus hours to navigate the airport. Not happening. I told them to catch a Flyaway bus and I'd pick them up there.

I snuck to meditation this morning to have some time for me and I'm feeling much better today. I realized we havent been apart for more than an hour or two in weeks between moving and hes starting a new business and working from home . I am going to have to try to get him to go on a weekend trip after we are settled. christine58 , thank you for the tips. Both my bouquet and I are doing much better today.  |

The flowers came out so pretty. When I've had that happen, I'll just cut the stems and submerge them in a bucket of room temp water. Usually only takes an hour for them to perk up.
