They should make those companies put their profits, and then some, toward treatment centers, outreach, and helping those with opiod addictions get back on their feet.

Keep suing them. Ohio has hundreds of lawsuits ongoing, and NY, MA, CT, RI, UT have sued the Sackler family. Alaska sued SpecGX. Oklahoma's suits forced Purdue to settle for $270M and Teva for $85M. States are grappling with trying to cobble funds to help communities in this opioid epidemic, and some states have run out of funds for this. Make Pharma pay.

I wonder how many other doctors are quaking in their shoes waiting to pay for their pill-mill greed!>>! They put their own greed ahead of the individual's and community's health and well-being.
He prescribed more than 500,000 doses of opioids in two years.
"Smithers prescribed opioids to every patient in his practice, according to prosecutors. Before a warrant was served on his clinic, he took in more than $700,000 in cash and credit card payments. He did not accept insurance."
