It looks like all the main designers for American Crafts have released or at least announced their newest collections, however, I don’t see a new collection from Dear Lizzy. Her more recent collections have been my favorite but I’m surprised she isn’t releasing one.
Do you think she’s out of the scrapbooking game? Does she scrapbook anymore? Her first few collections were some of my favorite but I haven’t seen a page by her in a long time.

I saw that when AC released the new sticker books that Dear Lizzy was included. But I haven't seen anything about a new Dear Lizzy collection. I tended to buy more Dear Lizzy than the Shimelle/Amy Tangerine/Maggie Holmes collections because with a young daughter and many young nieces her style suited my pictures. But I did notice like the other AC collections hers started looking alike.

Maybe she's doing another Christmas collection so they haven't announced it yet?
She also doesn't seem to be as active on SM as the others so maybe that's why there isn't as much promotion about her collection before the new show as the others?

Was wondering this same thing. Thank you for posting. It’ll be interesting to see what comes up with her future line/s.

Turns out she does have a new collection. I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere but it's at ACOT. For some reason it won't let me post a link to the whole collection but you can go to A Cherry On Top then click Shop and then click on Pre-order I'll try to link the Paper Pad She's Magic by Dear Lizzy

Some of it I definitely feel like I've seen before, like this book paper (which I can only get in a tiny size) which reminds me a great deal of this book paper from Pinkfresh (which I can only seem to get in a jumbo size).

This is why I’ve quit buying almost everything big name/mass produced. It’s all the same stock images regurgitated with different (or same!) color ways.

Some of it looks really cute. I can see picking up a few things. Loving the puffy stickers.

I usually like her lines. For me they are a more usable cross-section between Amy Tan & Paige Evans.

This is the first Dear Lizzy collection since Neapolitan that I have loved just about everything in the collection. I wonder why it took them so long to announce it?

I thought exactly the same thing when I saw that paper. Seeing them side by side though...wow! Remarkably similar!

Anyone else rolling their eyes at this IG post that Collin wrote in Elizabeth's feed? That whole "a lot of you stopped making crafts when Instagram turned us into finger-swiping wet blankets" really rubs me the wrong way, because Elizabeth is the one who stopped crafting, not us! Plus it's so condescending. (And yes, I get that it's a play on Stefon, but still.) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0_fHj7p8-x

Her husband’s ‘description’ came off as condescending and insulting. He probably thinks he’s funny since after all, who takes women’s hobbies seriously? Stop biting the hand that feeds you Colllin. (Isn’t he the one who was shaming female influencer?)

I unfollowed dear lizzy long time ago. And I am glad I did.
I am confused. Who copied whom? I need to check my stash. I do remember having a book paper like that but can not remember which manufacturer.
It is hard to keep up with people who copy because it is so common to do that now.

I read that IG post to my DH and my DH said her husband is such a douchebag. Yes, he went there and that's my hubby, lol. No filter. I feel sorry for her. She has the saddest eyes. Why does her husband need to post about her collection? What a control freak. He can't even let her have her moment to shine. It's got to be about him, him, and him. You don't see Heidi, Becky, Shimelle, Amy's DH's posting for their wives. He just can't stop himself from shaming. Least he didn't all call us sluts again. It is washi tape not washy tape. Note to her slut shaming DH- Kesha hates guys like him. She took the $ sign out of her name because of slut shaming. That was one of the reasons. Nice of him to leave the $ sign in so he can still belitte slut shame her. Lizzy's line is cute. I hope it does well and she makes a ton of money off of it and a Henry Cavill lookalike steals her away and treats her like a princess.

See I don't see him as controlling by introducing her sb line. I see it as "holy crap we googled and found that people are irritated that she hasn't said boo about her new collection and people are notice that she doesn't scrapbook anymore. We better fix that quick because we need the money she makes." Maybe realizing that you can't badmouth social media all the time and make money off it at the same time. Who'd a thought 🙄 ?

I left a response and I don’t think he’s going to like it but idgaf. His post was ignorant and it makes no sense as to why he would post instead of her. Could she not be bothered? I wish AC would remove her name from products, it would make me feel so much better about wanting them. I’m sure they could create them with out her and sell as many.

(At least, I assume it was yours, because there was only one critical one.) I thought about commenting something when I first saw the post, but I chickened out. I also checked out his feed and it kinda made me gag a bit. As far as I know, he has no qualifications to be talking about social media and children. I don't think he studied child development or anything? Before this, he was a photographer/videographer. He's now got more social media followers than Lizzy does and is talking to big companies like Nike and Adidas. I think social media *can* be harmful for children, but something about the way he does this bugs me. Also, it doesn't escape my notice that Lizzy used to be a big offender in social media, posting super-curated photos. I know she's addressed that and why she changed, but she's also left all those photos up on her feed. I'm not saying that deleting them would erase her past, but it would (in my mind) somewhat mitigate the extent of the perfect life she used to curate.

It's very self-congratulatory, like, look at me, I'm saving the kids! This is his IG bio: "Raised $100k’s for Hurricane Victims, Cancer Kids & You Are ❤️Billboards. Now we fight social media. Nothing like making sure *everyone* knows how good and magnanimous you are. Here let me hold your phone and live stream it while you pat your back. 🙄 Remember when they were raising money for the hurricane victims down south and they made sure everyone knew that they did it and they made sure that it was plastered all over social media showing them handing over big cheques? Yeah, that always rubbed me the wrong way.

twillerbee Is the paper line you are thinking of Pink Paislee? I was just going through my paper and I have Pink Paislee's book line. I do really feel sorry for Lizzy but I do wish AC would take her name off those lines and give it to the in house designer instead. You know Lizzy didn't design that line. She might have pointed out designs she likes but it's definitely not the same. It's like Dior's Maria Grazia Chiuri designing a new line then she asks her friend an opinion on new coats and her friend says "I like that one." It's an opinion, her friend doesn't get credit. Maria gets credit. AC start giving credit to your In House Designers. AC when you let a notorious slut shaming husband introduce a new scrapbook line your company looks like you hate women but want to profit off of them. That you share his slut shaming values.

I checked my stash today and I have that book paper from pinkfresh. It is from their Let your heart decide line that came out in early 2018 I believe @amayalylac . Can not believe how similar that dear lizzy paper is.

Both groups should at least get a by-line or something like that so they get credit for their work.
