Here's mine: I was trying to be a nice SIL and invited dh's niece & nephew over to give BIL a break (he's started radiation and SIL works). I even offered to drive the 40min and pick them. Said they could come over for a day and go swimming w/ yds (they're all about the same age). Somehow that turned into MIL & FIL bringing the kids out so they could play with ds, and they likely won't swim because their mom (SIL) is weird about water So now, instead of having a 'playdate' where the kids just hang out in the pool I'm having to entertain MIL/FIL while the kids play, most likely inside. Oh, and dh is working from home so I also have the keep the kids relatively quite. Dh said he'd try to pop out of his office when he could but still.....this is not what I had in mind <sigh> I know it's petty and as dh said it is still helping BIL which was my intent but good grief why can't you just take the offer as it was. Anyhow, what's annoying you today?

Oh, crap. I hate when things like that happen. I like to say no good deed goes unpunished.
You are awesome to give BIL a break.
Nothing is annoying me today. That is rare!

Businesses and people who will not follow through.
I am helping with the band this year. The concert uniforms need to be cleaned. The cleaners will not call me back.
We need our roof replaced. We are going through our insurance because of storm damage. The company we are attempting to use will not give DH their estimate. This is a well established business but they are dragging their feet.
I have to set up a meeting. It is taking forever for people to confirm a day and time.
I hate trying to coordinate volunteers. Everyone seems to think someone else will do it.

"Great, you guys can come over, we have to stay outside by the pool/backyard though as DH is working. Period. You might bring some cool drinks, I'm out of pop and tea!" I'm totally intolerant of shit like that and totally validate you. Also, it'll probably end up being fun and you'll feel bad for being a turd. LOL (also me).
I'm annoyed at my husband lately. He's been a real shit this week.

My daughter texted me to let me know that her new apartment (that we just helped her move into this past weekend) has cockroaches. I’m annoyed and freaked out and worried all at the same time.

DH is driving out of state to pick up a pint bottle of liquor. Seems like such a waste of a day. I want him here helping clean up all the shit he has moved into my office. It needs to get done. Who the hell drives 2 hours away for a bottle of Creme de Cassis? I mentioned it one day because it was part of a drink recipe I was looking at and he's been on a quest to find a "not cheap" bottle. We were in Greenfield, MA last week and stopped by the liquor store and he had them order a bottle.
It seems silly when I write it. LOL! I should be thrilled he's willing to make a 4 hour round trip so I can make a drink. Of course, I'd be happy with the Dekuyper and I really want him to sort his mess so I can reorganize the office back into a working space.

Ugh. That would annoy me too. No good deed...
I’m annoyed because we were supposed to close on the house we’re selling at 8:30 this morning. But the buyers don’t have all their docs in, so who the heck knows when we’re going to close or if it’s going to happen today. Meanwhile, I have movers scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning and my house is in shambles. I don’t want to pack another darn thing until we’re closed.
To add stress to the stress, we’re supposed to close on the home we’re buying next Friday, so this could muck that up as well. And I’m giving a presentation on Tuesday that is already sold past capacity, so bumping the closing really doesn’t work well for me.

I am dog sitting two weiner dogs and they're very barky and one is kinda naughty/likes to mark. They also like to get up in the middle of the night and bark. They're sweet when they're quiet, but it does mean I have 5 dogs in my house right now on my last few days of summer break. (I go back to work next week and was hoping for a relaxing weekend.)

Well, pretty much everything, since I'm 36 hours into a 66 hour fast, LOL. Where do I start?
Just made my third call to my chiropractor's office, trying to get reimbursement for copays I'm not responsible for since I met my out of pocket max for the calendar year.
Got a mani yesterday and tried a new glitter topcoat that has both flakes and skinny "strings" which are coming up through the topcoat and bothering me.
Because DS is a sophomore, he was last in line for college parking spaces, and missed out. He has to go with off-campus private parking at 3x the cost.

Not an annoyance but something that is difficult. The vet’s office just called. Sally’s ashes are ready to be picked up. I couldn’t even get through the phone call without sobbing. How am I going to walk in that place? I thought I was dealing. Apparently not....sigh. I miss my dog.

How long ya got? I always have a short day on Friday and somebody scheduled a 1 p.m. meeting and I usually leave at 2. So I know it will run over into my time which then puts me running behind the rest of the afternoon. I had scheduled maintenance on my car and the dealer didn't have a service tech available to come to work on it so I get to look at an annoying blinking service light for another week. I have a weekend trip planned and one of my two sisters canceled, she's mad that my other sister told her she didn't think it was a good idea to bring her 12-year-old dd mostly because we like to go out in the evenings and we like to enjoy adult beverages. I think she thought we'd end up as babysitters (it's happened before). I don't care one way or the other if either of them come because we had our own rooms so no effect on me (there are other girls coming as well). I'm gonna let them duke it out so to speak and told them both this and to stop texting me about it.

OP that sounds like something that would happen in my family. I like to say I need an attorney present to help me word any invitation - to help avoid unforeseen consequences of thoughtless family members.
Im annoyed with myself. I have work to do that I’m avoiding— and that’s making me miserable.

Who the hell drives 2 hours away for a bottle of Creme de Cassis? A man who is doing something extremely thoughtful and sweet for his lady. Not to pick on you, but please keep in mind he is doing that (nonsensical) thing FOR YOU. Give him lots of lovin and a pass on the other shit that needs to get done!

Where to start?
The cat started my morning with a barf fest, the dog dug through youngest’s trash and ate who knows what and made a mess. There was a plumbing leak so there’s a 6 foot section of missing drywall in the living room ceiling and still not sure of the origins of the leak. The bathroom fan I ordered arrived with broken glass. The roof and several windows still need replacing from Hurricane Florence but still need insurance adjuster to come back and certify replace vs repair. A section of the fence needs desperate repairs and it’s on the property line but neighbors aren’t interested in cooperating with that. Oldest left for Navy ROTC mini boot camp for 3 weeks, hasn’t packed for University which he will have 2 days to do after he comes back, before we fly him across the country. And something is wrong with my eye, I’m afraid I ruptured another hole that I had lasered last fall.
The eye first, have an appointment this afternoon. Ugh.

Today is a happy day at work for an odd reason. The interns in our dept are finally gone. I've been here 6 years and while steadily getting worse, we pretty much hit dumpster diving with these 2. They are both first year law students, but are self-indulgent, entitled little asshats. They made no attempt to deal with anyone below a paralegal in our dept - even to nod and say hi. NOTHING for 2 months. We returned the favor.
The guy was told to work with one of our best admins - he refused to talk to him and on the last day emailed this ridiculous spreadsheet to the admin saying how it was all color coded. Only it wasn't. So this fab admin gets to redo the entire thing again - but the intern will get the credit (and part of his tuition paid). The rest of the time he was on his phone and even layed next to the window on the office credenza (we're 21 stories up). Not the brightest bulb. Ignored when casual Fridays were cancelled and showed up in jeans anyway - cuz you know, entitled.
The gal was inappropriately dressed and flirted with everyone who was male and was rude to everyone who was female. She's apparently going back to Hong Kong ... good luck with that. And OMG she was loud. There needs to be a class on office decorum and use these 2 as poster kids.
So today our little corner is celebrating that UCLA gets them back.

Have waited 5 days for a check to clear, set up a transfer for the amount to go into our joint account at another bank only to be told that it can't go 'next business day' as it's a large amount, so now it won't get to the final destination until Wednesday. Hope our roof contractor will be understanding " src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/superangry.png"> " src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/superangry.png">

Does your firm provide feedback to the school on their performance? Because, damn. I would not want to hire those folks.

I’m annoyed bc we are out of town but I’m working and I really don’t feel like it.... Also super annoyed bc I pulled my calf muscle over a week ago and I still can’t completely walk on it - so no exploring and hiking for me. Totally sucks. I guess Monday I’ll go to the doctor....I’ve had a pull before but nothing like this

People who can’t drive. Gah. So many of them today! It’s like a damned convention if people who can’t drive.
The one asshole who couldn’t pass a truck because they seemed afraid. Well get out of the left lane then. Probably a young driver, but again get out of the left lane then your going 20 miles under the speed limit & jamming on your breaks.
The asshole who backed out of his parking space without looking. Nearly hit me then gave me a nasty look. Hey asshole no one in a parking space has the right of way any where ever - learn to drive or don’t drive.
The asshole going the wrong way on a one way with like a bazzilionty signs all over PLUS giant arrows on the ground. If you can’t see that don’t drive a car you idiot.
The garbage truck who went thru a red light. Several seconds after it was red. Geez they missed the car in front of me by like 8 inches.
Omg Dear Lord, just save me from the STUPID today that I may reach home in one piece. Amen.

I get annoyed every time I have to work with files from our operating software. They are sooooooo ugly: weird merges, wrapped text, blank columns, tiny print, numbers formatted as text, excessive columns (one report I ran last week had 78!!) and the criteria information is on the line above the report totals. Every time I work on one, I wonder what computer person set this up and what is wrong with them that they think "hey, this is great!"
