I am here. a HUGE lurker, need to work on that. I also hang out on ACOT (mostly on the challenges though so I will get something done with all the cool things I buy!) I am thinking about running another creation a day challenge in a week or so, would that help if I ran it here instead of on the challenge board?

I know you could upload your stuff at sb.com and then put a link. It might help get people more involved. You could put your gallery address in your signature. That would make it quick.

I post here more than 2peas....where I lurked more because there were so many active threads. But in truth there was a lull there too...I noticed a large drop when Cherrypicker (Janet) left. I never knew the story but I missed her upbeat posts everyday ......
I think Patter is a great thread starter too....but I think everyone just gets busy.....

I've been posting sporadically, and honestly spending more time in the blog sphere. I started looking for challenges out there and tried out for a few DTs so I've been busy working on those things and writing my blog. I don't think that paperclipping is moving any faster, and Splitcoast Stampers just seems so big and harder to navigate. I am a stamper and scrapbooker, so I don't know where I belong?

I agree with the comments about the sub-boards, especially the PL one. Many of us do hybrid scrapping--some traditional and some PL pages. There've been times when I don't know which of the two boards I should post on, and I've seen a couple of things posted on both boards. I can understand photography and digital being on separate boards but I think PL needs to be back with general scrapping.

I mostly lurk on the scrapbooking board - I was pretty much only a lurker at 2peas though so...
I scrap in spurts - one month I do a lot of pages and then I might not scrap again for a couple of months. I'm about due for a burst of scrapbooking inspiration though...and I'm more likely to read/post when I'm scrapbooking than when I'm not

I kept thinking about this, and I think not having a gallery and videos affects it too... Anytime there would be a video posted, there'd always be threads about how, what do you use, can I use this instead, etc... I know with the gallery, if I saw something I liked and wanted to know how to do it, I'd start a thread... There was a lot of subject material that we were all seeing... I was going to say something similar. I recall a lot of discussion being about where can I buy the same products because they weren't available at 2Peas. Haha!

I haven't found a message board better then the Refugee site, but agree I would like to see more posts. Sometimes I only stay a few minutes because I don't see much more than the last time I was here. All in all, I do want to say that I miss 2 Peas - the all-in-oneness of it's message boards, gallery, classes and videos, and awesome Garden Girls... and even the shopping. I would love a site that brought all of those things together again. I guess Studio Calico comes closest, but have never liked their message boards that much, too much talk about what people got and didn't get when the kits go on sale, and I don't know, a general air that if it's not the latest and greatest, it's not being discussed there. (And I'm not bashing them, I like Studio Calico, just their message board topics and participation seem someone limited. )

I am here too. But right now I have two Halloween costumes overtaking our home, so until those are done, I won't be scrapping.

I just had another idea about improving engagement or posting here: When you start a thread, it really helps if you include links to what you want to talk about A lot of times, a thread title will interest me but the OP doesn't include links to what they're talking about. Especially if I'm on my phone, I don't have the time or patience to research it myself. So I end up not posting a response even though I was initially interested in the topic. Am I the only one who feels that way or do you think it would help generate/keep discussion going if the OP included relevant links?

Yes! Especially when someone is asking about a product or something along those lines... I've usually never heard of it. Sometimes I Google, and sometimes I do not.

I am busy organizing and purging my scrap room. I think I am feeling an urge to do some cards and layouts now though. If I go too long without scrapping I totally lose the mojo. I upload to Instagram and sb.com.

I also think all the sub-boards are a detriment to this being an active board, at least until the board gets really hopping. I'm here! I agree with this, just my personal opinion, I think this board slowed dramatically when the sub boards were formed. I want to talk about all those things on the sub boards but I don't go to them. I prefer to just visit one board. me too!! I never think to go to those but if it was on the main board I would defnitely click PL and mixed media to get inspiration

I would love to see you start another thread on the main board

I pop in from time to time. Although I'm thrilled to have this place to stay connected to the Peas, I realized I needed a board with products, challenges, and a gallery. I hang out at Cocoa Daisy and Studio Calico.

I am still here - I just have not been scrapping or crafting. We moved to a bigger house the end of August and my In-laws moved in with us from out of state 2 weeks ago. It has taken some adjusting. I do have a cricut explore coming tomorrow! Maybe that will get me scrapping.
I tried scrapbook.com as well but it just did not feel like "home"

I haven't scrapped in awhile but I do check here but don't post often as I don't have much to say...since I have slowed down on scrapping. I do try to keep up with what is in and going out though...I would probably say having one board for scrapping instead of the sub-boards would help...

I agree that it would be good to merge the sub and main board. Admin said she would do that if there wasn't a lot of traffic on the sub boards.
I pledge to try and be more active here. :-)

Me three!
I was more of a lurker at 2P's and I actually post more here. But, it's still not a lot.
Me, four! I've been w/Two Peas for too many years to change.

I too hope the scrapping section picks up. TwoPeas was my go to for ideas and product releases. I don't have any LSSs in my area so now I'm trying to find a place online. Where do all of you shop? Any good recommendations? Currently I'm working on a mini sisters themed album with matching tin, a book about my cancer fight and just trying to get caught up in general. I'm planning on making some small albums for some of the special people in my life, kind of a things I want you to know theme, that I'll give them at some point before I die. God I just realized how weird and morbid that sounds. They'll be albums with pics of us and things I love about them, things I hope they remember as opposed to me being sick etc. Anyway any good online scrappy shopping places?

I have found that after the first month or so, this forum has really slowed down. Most of the topics here aren't really discussions. TwoPeas forum used to be so busy at times that within a day I could lose a topic, but here I often only visit once every couple of days. Let's get the scrappy chats going!!

I've noticed things slowed way down here too. I wish there was a little more scrap chatter, but maybe it's just because people are busy getting back into their fall routines with school starting back up, etc. hopefully things will pick back up again soon! That's my case.....

I read here multiple times a day (well will be until my job starts at the end of the week), but most times the board really hasn't moved at all, so I don't post.
Journeyfan, I agree, I'd like to see links. Sometimes I haven't seen something someone mentions and I post on the tapatalk app, it's sometimes a pain to then go search it. Link though keeps me in the app but brings up the link destination so it makes it easy

I read here a lot and will try to post more - I love these board and want them to keep moving! I agree that having the sub-boards makes it a bit more difficult.

I have just recently registered and hope to see more on this board too. I am working on a Disney album from last summer. Oh my! It is getting huge! How do you keep something like that manageable? I am mixing full page layouts and pocket pages because I thought that would help but I think it just made me feel like I could add MORE pics. LOL.

I pop in here every day or so but I don't always post.
Honestly IMO I think the scrappers are still out there but there is just not a whole lot left to talk about that hasn't already been discussed. KWIM? Many people here were at 2 peas for years and years. 2 peas SB Board was slowing down as well the last couple years. Back in the day EVERYTHING was new and exciting and there would be pages of new posts. I feel I had a lot more to ask, talk about and learn. Now, not so much, for me anyway.
Just my 2 cents.

I think you have some very good points! I remember back when 2Peas was crazy-busy (like, the entire first page changed while you were reading a thread), there would be lots of new topics when magazines came out. Somehow things like articles and magazines were more novel, because they only came out once every month or two. Now everything is available 24/7 on the Internet.
