Another Saturday, another Sketch for quick start to creating! Hope you play along.
I used this PageMaps from January 2018:
I love the sketch as is, but I never seem able to stick to a sketch as it's shown! But I think that's the point of a sketch - to help in your creative process no matter how much or how little you use. In this case, the photos I wanted to use were wider than the sketch, soI took out one rectangle/column, and added a photo where the title was supposed to go. Instead of the twine shown in the sketch, I stitched around each rectangle and ruffled the edges of the papers. I'm also pleased to have used papers/ephemera from 2012 (MME "the sweetest thing" line)!

Love that sketch. And your take on it, kitbop! Right now my house is full of dry grass, sand, wet socks, and little boy giggles. After tomorrow the giggles will be gone. Then I will need a day to power wash (just kidding) this place, unpack my scrappy supplies still in totes from the crop a week ago. When I actually start scrapping I will need all the help I can get to start rolling. Hoping to use this sketch some time next week. |

What a co-incidence, this sketch is quite similar to a layout I have had open on my computer for the last week, because I was planning to scrap lift it! I love your take on the sketch, you've added a lot more interest to it. |

kitbop, great photos and LO, my kiddos hatched butterflies, it is so interesting, i think i enjoyed it more than they did, lol! @elaynef, i love all the shades of blue, it really is the perfect way to capture snow! wonderful LO! LisaDV, i adore the spritz and ball fringe, so much great texture going on there! this sketch is so cute! here is my take using this kit...

@elaynef , love how you pared down the sketch to the 3 columns, and used a monochrome. Beautiful! LisaDV , very cool 2 column rendition - I like the extra space for the larger photos, and what I like the most is the "wonky" background behind the very square/grid elements! ABCreations - amazing use of colour and pps, and I love the lantern banner that ties the columns together! |

I swear I started with the sketch (see the nice vertical strips?) but after that...well, the end result doesn't look much like it. Page two is a pocket for memorabilia   |
