My friend and I have gone to NYC every couple of years since 2002. We have always taken a bunch of pictures of Ground Zero and now the Freedom Tower. We have scrapped our adventures together every summer. Last June, a fire burned her home and 550 others in their area. Her hubby was home and got out all of his guns, but didn't take a single thing of hers. (That is another thread!) I have two large scrapbooks of all of our trips that I would love to copy for her and give her as a gift. Does anyone know a place that could scan 12 x 12's completely? I know some smaller scanners sew them together, but oftentimes leave off the outside edge. I was going to do it at Archivers last Christmas and got busy and then they closed. I have over 100 pages (50 two-sided layouts). TIA.

Could you photograph them instead of scanning? That is a very considerate thing you are doing for your friend.

Your poor friend! I don't know of any place, but I was also going to suggest photographing and maybe uploading to one of those sites that makes photo books.

I hadn't thought of a photograph. A hardbound book would be perfect. I need to look into that too.
