Posting a little early for AussieMeg and anyone else not in North America! The circular parts on this sketch drew my attention. I really stuck to the sketch with my layout.

Great sketch, KelleeM! Love the circles. And your page is beautiful with all the floral pp and the floral clusters. So cool to see you flanked by these two!

Thanks for getting it up early KelleeM. I LOVE the sketch, and I'm going to make a start on it just as soon as I catch up on what happening over at NSBR.

I was browsing sketches yesterday and saved this one Myself @meelleek! Your example is so pretty. Love the darker semicircle underneath, is adds weight in the right spot.

Here is my take on the sketch. Used actual CD's for the circles. My photos weren't quite the same shape & size but I think the inspiration from the sketch comes through... So THAT happened! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

I love your take on the sketch KelleeM - I'm sure it wasn't there when I opened this thread on Saturday, otherwise I would have commented about it then. It's such a pretty page, and the photos are gorgeous too. I wish I could find a digital version of those flowers. I see them on a lot of 'real' layouts, but have yet to find a digital version. There's love for you in the gallery grammadee. Here is mine:

AussieMeg are you looking for that kind of water coloured flower? Fox + Hazel has some gorgeous (free!) watercolour florals that I love. The pack includes some individual pieces as well as pre-made clusters, and she has a couple of different colourways. You can find them here.

Thank you Chinagirl828! I downloaded the files and had a play with them in Photoshop. I can turn them into stickers and they look pretty much what I wanted. I have some other watercolour flowers that I'm going to play around with too.

grammadee, yes, you can tell this sketch inspired that layout. I love that you used real cd's. AussieMeg, love that lilac paper with embossed circles and how you paired in with analogous colors. Beautiful.

how you paired in with analogous colors. I have no idea what that means, but I'm glad I did it!!

I decided to make this one a two-page layout - had to change it up a bit to make it work for my 8.5x11 pages with 4x6 photos but hopefully it's still close enough to the sketch.
