What fun things are there to do in these two areas?

I was born and raised in CC.
There's the beach of course, the aquarium, art and history museums. USS Lexington. Decent mall.
What things are you looking to do?

My daughter and I will be going there in March 2015, prob too cool for the beach? Hope not. She would like the museums. Do you have information on them? Thank you!

How old is your DD?
We loved the aquarium and it has grown with new exhibits since we went.
You could also ride the ferry over to Port Aransas from A Pass...not sure what is over there these days, but it used to be a small beach town. I wish I could remember the name of the hole-in-the-wall restaurant that was sooo good. Usually you can see some dolphins there.

My DD is 17 years old. My brother actually lives in Aransas Pass so we will be staying with him. The ferry ride sounds fun! I will have to ask him about that.

DH and I spent a long weekend in Port Aransas this summer. We stayed close to the beach and spent a lot of our time in Mustang Island State Park. It was beautiful and I learned all about coquina clams. The beaches were covered in them.

Ok, something off the wall but there is an incredible grocery store located near the bridge to Port Aransas. I think it's a Brookshires. But the seafood and wine selections are fabulous. Just in case you need food, or wine!
