I am looking for a new "rolling" chair for my scrap area along with being able to take it with me to crops. I HATE those chairs where we crop. Any ideas??

No recommendations on a chair, I think it’s really a personal choice, what feels comfortable to you. For a crop chair, have you thought of a seat cushion? Much more portable and they make just about any chair comfortable. I bought one on amazon, but I think Bed, Bath & beyond sells them, too

I would not try to get a portable chair and an office/work chair in the same product. It would require too many compromises. For task chairs, I"m pretty happy with my Humanscale Freedom: The first few days were kind of rough. I was coming from a Knoll Generation which was a much more flexible chair, so there was some definite adjustment. I would have gotten another Generation if they'd still been available in Canada. There is no one perfect chair for everyone. You * need* to sit in that chair for (in my opinion) at least a week before you can really say "yes, this is the perfect chair for me". Like shoe shopping, it's one of those things that is try before you buy. Sit in lots of chairs. Sit in the ones that feel good initially for even longer -an hour plus if you can- at the desk height you usually use if possible. Do the movements and actions you normally do while your chair is in use. Speaking of desk height, make sure you measure your desk and see if you can get your feet, arms and head (if you do any computer work) all at the right heights for it.

I have had it for about 15 years, but I believe it was Office Depot when we still had them up in Canada

I recommend going and trying out different chairs. The one I got a couple of years ago is rated for 10 hours or something like that and is really comfortable with lots of set adjustments.

I have an office chair, I would say go sit in them before you buy and I don't mean a quick squat, sit in it for at least 5 minutes to get a good feeling if you think it's comfortable. I have had mine for 3 years now only downfall is it's a little wide but other than that I love it. I found at one of the expos I can swap out their crappy chair for a molded plastic one that they have stacked around the place (they're for outside but bring them inside when the buildings aren't being used for what they were orginally intended, i.e fairgrounds)..so much better.

For portable, maybe a camping chair? A friend of mine takes one to crops that’s a rocking chair
