#68 use part of a poem or song in your layout. Can be totleor actual poem/song lyrics #69 favorite sport or sports team. Create a layout or card with your favorite sport or team included. #70. Patriotic theme. My son joined the AF recently. I miss him so much. Post a card or layout using red white or blue colors. Extra point for adding a US Flag sticker #71 for the love of animals. I volunteer atour local Shelter and foster dogs. Create a layout with any type of animals can be zoo, pets, anything. Extra points for journaling on this layout if you state why you did that layout. Example. I love time at shelter and why I volunteer. Etc. #72. Anniversaries are amazing. Just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary. Create a card for a special Anniversary. I think #68 is too close to #66. We could combine yours with mine. I could add poem to mine, if you’d like! 😁

Sorry for the overlap, KikiPea and buggirl47. Can one of you take Title and the other take lyrics? Or one take songs and the other take poetry? It's not a big deal, but nice if the challenges can be distinct from one another, even if you can sometimes claim points for more than one challenge for the same element on your project.

#75 Zodiac - The two zodiac signs associated with September are Virgo (The Virgin) and Libra (The Scales). Include some kind of embellishment or photo or story that relates to either of these symbols on your card or layout. Bonus 5 points if your birthday is in September and you do a layout about your star sign and what it says about you.
#76 Birthstone - The birthstone for September is SAPPHIRE. Take a point if you include elements or papers that are predominantly BLUE. Bonus point if your birthday is in September, and bonus 5 points if your LO is about YOU!
#77 Pointers - Use background elements, photos or embellishments that have points, such as a star, triangle or diamond. Bonus 5 points if you manage to get all three on your page or card.
#78 Journalling - Do list-type journaling eg. use bullet points or dot points, numbering, 5W (Who / What / When / Where / Why) for your journaling.
#79 Birthday Bash - Scrap those birthday photos. Fun twist - take 1 point for each decade of the age of the birthday person eg. 1 point for 10-19 years old, 2 points for 20-29 years old, 3 points for 30-39 years old etc. (Also take 1 point for 0-9 years old.)
#80 Stripes & Dots - Use paper or elements that have stripes or dots. Bonus point if you use both.

#81 Wordy | Journal your heart out... 1-49 words = 1 point. 50-99 words = 2 points. +100 words = 3 points. CAN NOT be combined with teacherlisa's Dig Deeper challenge about 1 point/word for the teach, mother and help themes. #82 72h Rule | Document your memories and photos within 72h of taking them for a point! This is a reward challenge for those of you keeping up with the new memories in your life. #83 Put It In Neutral | Scrap using predominantly neutral colours like white, black, grey, cream, taupe, beige, greige, kraft and brown. Photos don't count towards the neutral scheme (you can use super colourful pictures for this challenge, no problem).

21 - use pre-made words in your title. Thickers, purchased die cut words, and stickers all count. Do wordy stamps for titles count as well?

#84 Use your class ideas-wether you paid for them or they were free make something inspired by that class. 1 pt per half hour spent watching class- 5 pts for hour spent creating from this class. Please give us the class name and where we can sign up if the class is paid. And please share a link to the class if it is free.

You can include some words from a sign, a song, a poem, a brochure, etc. But if it's all copied words, I guess it wouldn't be considered journaling to begin with? Otherwise, though, count those quoted words towards your total! ETA: @ Linda Amended this. You are allowed this type of journaling. You've taken the time to copy all of this yourself, not just pasting words so I don't see why I should get elitist over the type of journaling! Grab some points for all your efforts, I say!

1 point per word of journaling Can you confirm this? I'm a very wordy gal so this would be a major point scorer for me...

IDK i thought it would be good since these could be some deep stories that take more effort. I am like you and do much more journaling than embellishing so I wanted a way to earn some extra points. grammadee would you rather I do it similar to one of the other challenges with 1 point for every 50 words?

You don't need my permission for this. I think some of us wordy people will earn lots of points this month, and that is okay with ME! You might want to qualify that these are your OWN words rather than copied and pasted from another source? And then maybe sleepingbooty could modify her challenge about one point per 50 words; maybe put some points in for using NUMBERS on a project? One point per number? I haven't gone over all the challenges closely to look for overlap yet, but did notice this one...

grammadee The 1 point/word of journaling is only for LOs about teaching, mothers and helping per teacherlisa's "dig deep" challenges. Shall I simply amend mine so it cannot be combined with hers? That way, there's still some points up for grabs if you're journaling about other themes.

If you are taking a live in-person class I would say yes, you can count the 5 extra points.

Lots of fun challenges already, but if you want to add your own, you have just under 12 hours to do that. I will be closing this thread at 9PM my time this evening.
Also I am slowly copying and pasting the challenges into a Word document. So if you have edited your challenge since it was posted, please let me know so I can change the wording in that printable list.
Thanks!

Will you share this when you finish? I can't use the spreadsheet but I think I can convert Word to my Wordperfect.

I'll get the spreadsheet done this evening. I can save it to here as an Excel document and as a PDF if you'd like. That would save you gals from extra work.

My first time making challenges; whoopee!
#85 FLOWERS Make a layout of 2 or more photos that ONLY have flowers in them. Trees in bloom count. One point. #86 ACRYLIC Still have an old acrylic album lying around? Complete it! Photos not necessary, but all pages decorated. Two points per page! #87 PHOTO STRIPS Make a layout using one or more of those photo booth strips. Two points per strip of photos. #88 POLAROIDS Make a layout or layouts using only polaroids (old ones only; not the new ones). Give yourself 2 points per photo. #89 USE THAT MINI Have a mini album that you made but have no photos in? Add photos and journaling and complete it. Two points per page.
This is fun!
