It's actually a translucent ribbon, but thank you! I'm saving all the little scraps of it I can because SEI no longer does scrap products.

Dictionary , your pages are beautiful...all your pages are beautiful. You have such a great style with softness in your layouts. I love that style and love your photos. Did you do the inking on the background on ClaireBear? So unique. ~ I love that coy look she has in the top photo of Hello Sunshine, and they breaking into a great big grin. Love the photos together. Those are gorgeous girls.~ That is the cutest card. Your coloring skills are phenomenal. He is such a cute shark and I love the stamps fishes. Fabulous. refugeepea , those cards for your Project Life are adorable. A lot of work goes into those small cards. I love the colors peeking through the Christmas tree and the wreath. The titles are very well done. I wish I could do project life. My photos always seem to be the wrong orientation when I try to make a page. You have been doing a lot of cutting! What e-cutter do you have? refugeepea,ETA:thanks for the comments about the redheads. We have 5 out of 14 who are redheads and 2 granddaughters just married redheads. I think we will see a few more in coming generations.

What e-cutter do you have? I have a Cricut Expression with SCAL software (bought it before the lawsuit). It's still going okay, but I'd like a Silhouette when it dies.

Yes I did I guess I should have said that. Thxs for the love No, it's fine. I'm sure most people know! I've toyed with the idea of trying copics, but want to stick with simple designs.

Love for creations on page 4: refugeepea , I am really enjoying your fun cards. That shark should certainly get credit for being an ANIMAL. Prob not a PET though :Hope you get them into the Gallery. Hope to go there and make individual comments. And that Halloween page is really cool. Love the black diecuts on the orange.

Sorry for the belated comments for page 1: Chinagirl828 I love the pretty colors you’ve used, how the pink plays with the blacks and grey, those lovely flowers you have tucked in are gorgeous. Really beautiful. Linda I'm amazed by how many pages you have done already this month. You’re on a roll! Honmaru page - I love that you’ve used full photos but it’s not obvious at first, the layout doesn’t look static. Love all the greens. The Yugen page too - the big circle works so well. The bell page - I like how you picked up the color of the patina in your embellishments. The blue kara-mon gate page shows off all the details without the pictures feeling repetitive. I like your choice to use the factual info as journaling on most of these pages. Love the green and greys on the watchtower/love this place page, and the blues on the Nijojo page are so pretty with the blue skies and the black and gold in the photos. Love the garden pages with all those pretty banners. The orangey-brown and teal papers are such a good color accent for the gate photos. - really brings out the colors. The vintage postcard elements on the last page coordinate nicely with that wonderful old wood. You’re doing a great job getting all your son’s travel photos scrapped. sleepingbooty your local food page is lovely. The colors are gorgeous and I love that you’re documenting a plant sneaking over the fence Did you make any pumpkin pie? So sorry to hear that things didn’t work out well with the dog foster situation but the page is beautiful. And yes, you’r going to be earning a lot of journaling points!! grammadee Lake life: love the way you used the sky behind the top part of the pages and the brown along the bottom. And you fit so many photos and details into one spread. Running on Lake Time: glad you tracked down those pictures! Putting things away is usually my downfall. Love the yellow doily sun!

Catching up a little bit... Comments for page 2: Linda those photos from Nijo-jo are gorgeous. Your son struck it lucky with such beautiful weather. Love the colors you picked up, especially that blue. Good for you for tossing the alphas that you don’t like working with. Thee peacock card is such a lovely thing to save. (I love your explanation about saving them - so good that the kids use the opportunity to document something they couldn’t take a photo of! Very smart and considerate). Is that a pocket holding the Nijo-jo flyer or did you just use cut it up to create a title. Either way, looks great. I love the jewel tones. Kyoto Railway Museum: Great patterned paper choice! on both layouts. The gold details of the Imperial livery are so cool, the page really doesn’t need much else. The torn paper layers are just enough. grammadee If you go down to the lake today: how fun! And now I have that song stuck in my head again! lol. Better than what my husband was singing over and over earlier though. Love all the bright colors that you’ve played up from the photos. Lots of happy faces! Stop along the way: I like the little pops of yellow in the kiddo’s shirt and the men at work sign. Dictionary Sweet Caroline: what beautiful colors and flowers for a beautiful little girl. Claire: I love the way you arranged those sweet newborn photos. Such pretty butterflies too. nyleneMickey Love: What a fun Disney page. Those colors work perfectly for this picture white the classic Mickey on Randy’s shirt. I love the little detail of the gingham ribbon and the Mickey on the Ferris wheel smiling out from the photo. The ears + love element is really cool. lynnek nice to see you here! My team awesome is so fun. Love the color scheme and the fun baseball embellishments. Is that top piece a heart rate with a baseball shaped spike? A cut file? So neat!

Comment for page 3: buggirl47 Jager is SO cute! Oh my gosh, all those pages of adorable pups <3 What a lovely companion to have. Linda I love the way you used an enamel dot for the point in DD51.756 Simple and effective. The yellow and black page is fun - the way you echoed the diagonals in the background of the photo on the page is very fun. That Daihatsu midget is so cute. Love the simple grey cardstock embellishment. On display: a good way to gather together some of those random photos of interesting things. I like the museum embellishment. lynnek Di Vinci Bridge: what a neat title in wood veneer. All the embellishments you chose go really well with the photos. Dictionary love the READ page! What a sweet image (gotta love seeing kids and books). The scalloped and doily pieces go beautifully with the florals. Another page done is the best part! The points are just the icing on the cake. grammadee Bark at the Park: I heard about that event - the Mariners need all the help they can get... (or so my husband tells me. I don't follow any sportsball much) Love that sweet doggo, it looks like everyone had fun. Good for you getting your album done. Deadlines are the only way I get anything finished in a timely manner! Hope your trip has been fun. nyleneCousin Camp Project: a blue ribbon page for a blue ribbon project. Love the parquet woodgrain paper background and the orange and blue scheme. refugeepeaScarecrow cutie: I love the little cluster of embellishments+ words. That shade of blue goes really nicely with the photos. Ahoy Matey: I love the background papers you chose for this bright, cheerful page. The title block/pirate embellishment is really fun. It’s owl good: love all the little owls. The muted background colors go really nicely with the photos.

I'm all caught up! Lazy Sunday for the win! Comments for page 4: Linda Rails: I love your color choices. Kyoto Imperial Palace grounds: you’ve gotten so much use out of that paper collection. It’s very pretty. The green garden pages are gorgeous, those trees are fabulous. Your son takes great photos How satisfying to be caught up with all the travel photos for a little while. Looking forward to seeing what projects you tackle next. buggirl47 What a wonderful gift, lots of fun photos. refugeepea Time 4 fun: I love your Halloween embellishments and spider washi tape ribbon. So freakin’ merry: what neat cards! that was smart to reinforce the pp you liked with PL cards you didn’t. And I totally think that counts. gramma On the road: what a fun layout. I love how you were able to include the whole story on the page, even the DMV photos. All your cut elements are really cool. One day people might look back at that page and marvel at the key/car alarm when whatever technology comes next takes over. But for now it’s just really fun looking. Dictionary Claire bear: beautiful photos and colors, and I love the mixed media elements in the background. Hello sunshine: another sweet pretty page to show off that sweet smile. Hello chum: that really cracked me up! I love a good pun, and that one is perfect with the look on that shark’s face. Very fun, and I love the coloring you’ve done on the shark. nylene Taekwondo that little folded paper belt is perfection. I love the little details you add to your pages. The labels with ”in a nutshell” are very cool too. Did you add those to the card or was that part of the design?

Is that a pocket holding the Nijo-jo flyer or did you just use cut it up to create a title Thank you for all the sweet comments It is a pocket for the brochure - my son sent me an envelope with brochures and tickets from this trip and I tried to find spots on the layout for as many as possible (the few I didn't manage are tucked between pages.

Love the fun cuts! gramma - The embellishments are just so great on you On The Road layout! I have a daughter that has her permit, and I tell you, that is the worst parenting thing I have encountered. So nerve wracking! But they do get better. Dictionary - Clair Bear - Great use of the texture paste! And what a sweet little one! Love the pink too. Hello Sunshine - Great mixed title! Hello Chum - such a fun card!!! Great design too. nylene - Love the title and over all design on your Taekwondo page!

Spent my Friday night not scrapping like I would like, but making signs for my daughter's Poms team. They were going out to sell candy bars on Saturday and wanted signs. I tried to use the sketch function on my Cameo (have never done that before) and in general it was going to be fine, except that the pens that I had were kind of dried up and I couldn't find any other pens on hand that worked in the holder so I just ended up cutting out the letters and attaching them to the boards. So, I believe that is 25 points - two hours at 10 points each and then 5 points for finishing the project. So, Saturday I was able to get a page scrapped. I used Sketch #3, a kit I had from my LSS class, and photos of my nephew's wedding last summer. #1 - Sketch 3 with twist (dots - wishing bubbles from 49 and MArket) - 1, #3 - Season - a change in their lives from single to married - 1, #11 - LSS Kit - 1, #12 - Inky - 1, #27 - Scraps - 1, #28 Spell HARVEST with materials used (H=hearts, A=Alt New Stamps, R=Ribbon, V=vellum, E=Epoxy Dots, T=tag) - 1, #43 - Level Up - 1, #44 - Mix and Match Title (Die cut and stamps) - 1, #45 - Random Icon (&) - 1, #47 - Ribbon - 1, #53 - Rectangles - 1, Dot, Dot, Goose - 2, #65 - Shrinky Dink - 1, #67 - Pick One, Use One (stamp sets), #80 - Stripes - 1, #81 - Wordy (47 words) - 1, #83 - Neutral - 1, #95 - Scrap someone you love, use a heart - 2, Stashbuster - 6 = TOTAL 33 points

It's pretty simple when you're repeating the same design over and over. I think they did post pics of some of the last batch I sent.

Ok posting 2 layouts today. Thought I'd break out my glimmer mists and pastes. Really loving the opportunity to do these girly layouts. Most of the photos come from my son but this one in pink (Claire Bear) was by me as well as the ones below. Hard to capture little ones once their mobile so I appreciate the non walking stage. HelloSunshine by Dictionary-1, on Flickr love these layouts Dictionary!! such beautiful sweet girls
