This is my last one for the month. I tried to upload it last night but Photoshopped crashed and I went to bed in annoyance! It is Week 39 of my Project Life album. I used a 'Ready To Go Pocket Page by Just Jaimee.

hummingbird - wow on those photos and you did a fab job on the paper strips - I couldn't get them to work for me no matter w I approached it like sewing. I place 2 sheets of the same paper, right sides together. Then put used a ruler and pencil to mark. Then I cut having 2 strips to use. The off cuts were awkward, which is why I used them for my next week sketch and made them into triangles. I still have some for some more hummingbird layouts in the future.

LisaDV - thanks for the tips - I should have tried it when DH was home because I bet he could have helped me figure it out (I have him help me translate pattern pictures to fabric regularly - my brain doesn't seem to do well with that). I did have him help me with the triangles for sketch 26 and that one went much smoother

oh yvonne - of course it's fine to flood the board - the more eye candy and inspiration the better And your layouts are gorgeous - you've jumped right back in like you never took a hiatus! Love the colours and the details - and especially that you handwrite your journalling. lynnek - great layouts - I love the grid one - the colours are so bright and fresh. I'm envious of the rhubarb - I love rhubarb and tried valiantly to convinve it to grow here but our summers are too hot and our winters don't get cold enough so I have to rely on frozen instead

I made a couple of pages that I think are finished enough to share. I used fonts I had on my computer and (for the right side) I dragged in a second copy of the picture to create a background - learning from AussieMeg and you all here edit32 J crab and stump by jo.blackford, on Flickr This next one is all IACB (Geralyn Sy) templates and word art. I hate the word "vibes" but I'm tolerating it here. I think I'll probably shrink both pages slightly to give more breathing room around the bottom edge - I have to allow for blurb to chop randomly from top or bottom, you never know, so I like to give them plenty of white space. edit33 Mt Ellinor by jo.blackford, on Flickr What size are these pages? They look bigger than a TN. I really like them. You have them printed in a book? Could you cover the vibes with another word (maybe time) or erase it?

Thanks They are about an inch wider than a TN - I'm doing a 5x8" page to be printed as a blurb trade book. I haven't actually printed any of them out, which I REALLY need to do, just to see how the text looks. But at the end of the year I'll upload them into blurb's software and have them printed. The trade book isn't photo book quality but www.shannanm.com/ does them and they look pretty cool for less money than a photo book, and I like the look of this size. Totally copying her, btw. And you can use 3x8 and TN templates with this size with not too much tweaking. There probably are people selling ~5x8 notebooks and covers on etsy that you could use instead of a standard size TN. I don't care for the narrowness of the TN layout, especially given how many landscape pictures I take. And yes, I definitely could cover up the "vibes" if I decide I really hate it. I probably have a font that would work, and I've done it before. It's pretty easy. I couldn't think of what to cover it with but you're brilliant! Time would be much better!

I love your pages. I follow shannan_pages on instagram. I like her blurb book too. I guess if I keep liking that size I should try my own. I want to try a 6x8 photo book but the cost and limited companies that print them is stopping me. 5x8 might be the way to go. Still there is only one company that does that size. Decisions.
