Sooooo first world problem...but I had time, energy and money today to go Christmas shopping. I had lists from my kids already so I planned on getting a good start. All 3 of my kids are kind of past the toy stage, except DS and his Lego obsession, and are on to clothes, accessories, etc. I went to the mall and actually went to EVERY single store I wanted to go to. I browsed, tried things on for myself...had a grand ol' time. Except when I left the mall 3 hours later, I'd only purchased 4 Christmas gifts. I DID get all 5 of us shirts to wear for family photos but was really disappointed that I couldn't find more for Christmas. It's not very often that I get a weekend day to shop for as long as I want and by myself.
And to top it all off, I came home and decided to go ahead and do some online shopping for Christmas pjs and NOTHING! Damn I'm striking out all over! [HASH]firstworldproblem

That's the way it goes. When I was first married and when I had kids I had to budget in buying myself anything new. Boy oh boy at the time I could find lots and lots of clothes but sadly couldn't afford much. Now that my kids are older and money isn't so much an issue I can't find anything. I used to love to shop but I hate it now because I can never find what I'm looking for

YES! I found TONS of stuff *I* liked today and at decent prices but the money I had was meant for Christmas stuff. LOL So I cringed and left without buying anything for myself, except the family pic shirt.

That stinks. I'd be so frustrated. I hope that you get another day to yourself soon and that it's much more successful!

Whenever I go shopping for myself, I always end up buying stuff for the rest of my family. I hate clothes shopping so I find any excuse not to.
Don't be down, at least you got 4 presents, that's 4 ticked off your list!
