So there I was, working on the second sketch for the month, having actually COMPLETED the page for Sept 1st on the 1st and so proud of myself. I was about halfway through and...I lost the photos. No freaking clue where they went. I didn't leave my room, I only moved out of my chair to grab paper off my paper shelf a couple of times. And I have looked EVERYWHERE. Multiple times. And they aren't photos I can reprint either. I am SO annoyed!
So what was YOUR most annoying scrappy moment ever?
I finally found them! Somehow they were in the baggie that I have my punches in. Luckily I went looking for a punch, and there they were; yay!

Similar to that I think, although items have almost always shown up...a few times tho I have lost embellishments for which I had no replacement...hugely annoying! You spend so much time LOOKING for the items, it wastes all the scrappy time too!

Happened to me TWICE this weekend: once with a set of photos and once with a collection of paper I needed to scrap some photos I had in my hand. Both turned up. But the time I wasted looking for them is gone forever! Did you find the photos, yet, zella? In my experience, they will often be turned over or on the BACK of some papers, or between two sheets of paper. Could they have slipped down between your desk and the wall? Or slid under your trimmer or some other large item on your desk?

I had a nice butterfly stamp that went missing 6 or 7 years ago. It was always the perfect size and in the cross section of cute and realistic. Perhaps whimsical would be a good word. Never to be seen again. I hope your pictures turn up.

Never to be seen again. I hope your pictures turn up. Have you checked page protectors in [almost] completed albums? I had looked for a pumpkin die and embossing folder set every autumn for YEARS, and they turned up tucked into a page protector with coordinating papers for a page I never completed for an album I was working on at a crop one October....

That's Not Me. I have someone who lives in my house with that name, but is never seen. Always causing things to disappear. When I would ask my kids who moved something, they would say "Not Me."
I would like that person to move out of my house and take up residence somewhere else!

I was scrapping at a retreat and balanced my entire carefully sorted box of Cricut cartridges on the drink holder, just for a SECOND! I then, of course, knocked my container over and they hit the floor and flew everywhere. I still think I am missing one....

In my experience, they will often be turned over or on the BACK of some papers, or between two sheets of paper. Could they have slipped down between your desk and the wall? Or slid under your trimmer or some other large item on your desk? I've moved everything in my work area. I've looked on the floor. My table isn't against a wall, so that's not a possibility. I may go back in my room shortly, and I'll have another look. It's sad, too, because I am finally doing my memorial album for my sister (it's been over 3 1/2 years since she died, and I'm just now at the place where I can handle this), and it was the only photo I have of her wedding (elopement). I'm sure it'll turn up eventually, right?

So what was YOUR most annoying scrappy moment ever? Well just today, digging for some pictures, I can't find them. Found 1 that I thought I must have printed it at home, go and order 250 pictures plus enlargements. As I am scrapping the 1 photo I had I notice a retailers print mark on the back which means I did not print it and then I get that nagging gut feeling seems like I did print them. Ok lets dig through some stuff.....and then Lord Almighty I found them... Hand smack to the forhead and as I sat there thinking what an idiot I am I realized that the reorder I just put in, that website kept an "album" and while I only have 2 albums on their site that means I should have seen it and realized it...so now I feel like a complete and utter Moran.

My most common but annoying scrappy moment is to die cut a title then lose ONE letter or the dot to an i or something. Oh and snipping the webbing between my thumb and finger on occasion with my fussy cutting scissors!

So glad you found your photos, zella . Looking for things I just had is the bane of my existence! Dictionary , you are definitely not alone on that bench. I have reprinted photos and then found the original packet, purchased something I already own... and of course the lost return from hiding as soon as they are replaced! angel97701 , I love your diecut titles, but assembling them is one of the things that prevents me from doing many myself: too many things to go sideways. And clipped webbing? OUCH!!!

Yeah zella, so glad you found your photos. I've occasionally had one or two get stuck to the bottom of "other" papers I've been considering for a layout and spent time looking too. But you solved your mystery, wahoo!
