I know answers will be all over the place... just curious how much phone time your teen is allowed a day, or is it unlimited? Asking because our 13 1/2 year old dd is unlimited (except for meal time, homework, chores and bedtime). During those times, it is on the kitchen counter. Otherwise, she seems to be on it a lot. She plays games, watches videos, texts with her friends and facetime chats with her BFF. I feel like it's too much and she's becoming obsessed. I'd like to have a time limit, but interested to hear what others do. But then, the other part of me thinks... when I have free time (which isn't often), I do the things I enjoy doing... reading, watching tv, digital scrapbooking, playing on the computer... so why shouldnt she be allowed to do what she wants during her free time. thoughts?

Phone time is limited to 30 min weekday, 60 min Sat and Sun.
Lots of screen time (phone/internet/pc) isn't healthy for anyone!
I limit my use too.

She does ask for extra time when she wants to watch a yoga video. And she can grab it to use 1 of the 3 anxiety apps. But free range internet use is limited to 30/60.
Too much crap that she doewn't need to deal with and it does make teens more moody and stressed.
She has lots of non screen time hobbies.
