If we are going to have CARDtober happen again, we need 7 people to host. A host posts one card making challenge per week in the month of October and provides us with a sample. A challenge may be an occasion, a technique, a colour or an element ( like Nuvo drops or doilies), maybe a sketch.
We have a couple of people agreeing to host for a second year, but we have some vacancies.
Anyone want to join in the fun?

I’d be willing if this is something I could prepare ahead of time.
Our son is moving the last half of October. We will be heavily involved in helping him. I definitely won’t have time to do.a card every day this time around, but I’d be happy to be a host if I can prepare my challenges this month for posting in October.

Thanks, scrapnnana! Yes, you can totally do all your sample cards ahead of time. If you are unable to post your challenge on “your” day, you can send it to me and I can post it for you. Most challenges/samples you would need would be 4 |

You can check out these links from last year to get a sense of it 2peasrefugees.boards.net/thread/84303/cardtober-challenges-2018But like most of the challenges around here they're usually pretty flexible. There may be some that are technique based, like using texture, which may be harder to achieve with just paper. But there are usually plenty with just a color scheme or sketch or theme challenge that can be used as a jumping off point for whatever your style is. I'm mostly a patterned paper cardmaker too. I don't plan to have anything too complicated in my challenges. And there's nothing wrong with skipping the ones that don't suit your style and making extras of the ones that do |
