I just have to state it in public-not only is he one of the most talented designers I have ever seen, but he is incredibly professional and kind. He answered my email personally and is an A+ human being. I am so excited to potentially go to see his studio. (not sure I can go yet, but I am working on it!) Updated tp add more info in 3rd post.

Well, I wasn't going to say at first, but my mom, who loves scrapbooking is in treatment for breast cancer. She doesn't drive hardly at all, so she has never been to his studio. I am going out there for her next biopsy, and I talked her into going to his studio, even though it is 2 hrs from her house. (she was nervous about going so far) But what she doesn't know is that I tried to sign us up for the October crop at the studio. Unfortunatly it is sold out, Mr. Garcia got back to me right away personally and put us on the waitlist. THEN, he emailed me right away when the December crop opened up. That one has since sold out as well. (could not go to that one, mom is having surgery) And today someone in the studio emailed me and let me know that while they don't think any spots are going to open up, we are welcome to shop during the crop as the store is open, plus they have open studio the Wednesday and Thursday before the crop, so we could go during the day. Note-and this is a big deal for me-I did NOT mention anything to their staff or Mr. Garcia about my mom's illness. This is how they would just treat anyone apparently. I am very impressed. Here is the Fall line from Prima and Mr. Garcia that I hope to buy a TON of www.scrapbook.com/store/pri-995515.html?t12-13=prima+marketing&t14=autumn+sunset

I took a class with him at a Prima event, he was very nice in person. It’s nice to hear good things about scrap “celebs”.

That’s a great story. I’ve liked Prima since back in the paper flowers days and Frank Garcia’s work is very nice. It’s good to know they treat their customers so well. I hope you and your mom have a great time.

What a nice story. I hope you and your mom get to go sometime.
The store is pretty close to me, but I haven’t been yet. Looks like they have some nice workshops.

Sending your mother healthy vibes, @kendramage! I hope you two can go check out his studio and store. Keep us in the loop! I love Frank's videos. I always watch his videos for scrapbook.com and feel tempted to get his lines every single time. Autumn Sunset and Christmas in the Country were both almost purchased just based on how he showed them off...

I used to like when he was on PRT. That's what I was going to say. I wasn't familiar with him but he seemed like a good guy from what I remembered from PRT. Glad to hear he's still a nice person. I hope things work out well for you and your mom @kendramage
