June is very low, if any, occupancy for Doral, too hot and extremely humid! So putting people in normally empty units at cost would still be beneficial to the overall operation, maybe out of the red.!

Pompeo says we did not abandon the Kurds!! Secretary of State Mike Pompeo defended the cease-fire agreement in Syria that he and Vice President Mike Pence spearheaded, denying allegations that the U.S. abandoned Kurdish allies in the region. He continued saying he is “confident” that the stop in violence will hold. Pompeo told Politico in an interview on the secretary of State’s plane that the U.S. “still has the commitments” from leaders involved in the cease-fire agreement brokered Thursday, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, despite reports that violence among extremists has increased in northern Syria. “There’s not perfect command and control,” Pompeo told Politico. “You have irregular forces in the region, as well. I don’t know precisely what this is, but our sense is, the political commitments that were made yesterday will end up being successful. We also have reporting that fighting forces in and around the two towns — that the [Syrian Defense Forces] are actually beginning their departure. So the key elements of the cease-fire look to be taking effect.” ** thehill.com/news-by-subject/foreign-policy/466452-pompeo-rejects-the-idea-that-the-united-states-abandoned-the

But does that actually STOP him from actually moving forward and DOING it?? THAT is what I want: Congress to say NO, you CANNOT do this. We will NOT appropriate money for this. That's what I'm not sure can actually be done.

If we had a working for the people DOJ there might be hope. I am not so sure there is anymore. Lindsey is meeting with the HOUSE GOP leaders to coordinate his new investigations: FISA applications(Mueller report)abuses, how the present HOuse investigation it totally unprecedented... to debunk the Whistleblower, how the Hunter Biden mess is getting deeper and deeper (even though Bossett former Homeland Security says is nothing and he told dt just that!) that the present HOuse is hiding every thing even though GOP members are in the meetings and ASKING questions.... Someone has just said the KENT DoS stated he had concerns about Hunter Biden and report that.. But no one else is reporting that, but I assume it is comeong for GOP leak but who knows! ********* Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) huddled with members of the House Republican whip team on Wednesday to discuss impeachment strategy. The Senate Judiciary Committee chairman told the House members he will use his investigative authority in the upper chamber to direct what several Republicans said will be a more transparent process than the probe that has taken place in the House, multiple GOP sources told The Hill. Graham, who served as one of the House impeachment managers during the Clinton hearings, told GOP lawmakers that following the release of Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report, he plans to "use its power to investigate the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] abuses that took place in the 2016 election meddling and surveillance of the Trump campaign." He also argued the process House Democrats’ have conducted is “unprecedented” and won’t be tolerated in the upper chamber, one source in the room said.Graham "disagrees with the way Democrats have conducted the probe and is going to investigate when it gets there, and he will make sure that investigative process actually comes out with as much light and transparency as possible," one GOP lawmaker who attended the meeting told The Hill. "I think the whistleblower will be debunked. I think there's going to be discussions about greater corruption and the Ukrainian law that we all voted for — Dems did, Republicans did — a statute that said we should be going after Ukrainian corruption, you know, which is kind of what all of this is built up around," the lawmaker added. ** One Republican said that “it just gets deeper with Hunter Biden” upon exiting the meeting, signaling Senate Republicans are considering looking into Hunter Biden’s business dealings with a Ukrainian energy company. Graham told reporters he encouraged members to “stick to your guns and insist on a fair process.” Following Graham’s comments to members, Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) — who sits on the House Foreign Affairs Committee — briefed members on what has been taking place during the closed-door hearings “and stressed that [House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam] Schiff [D-Calif.] is abusing his power to make up rules as he goes along,” the source in the room said. ** thehill.com/homenews/house/466184-graham-huddles-with-house-republicans-on-impeachment-strategy

My understanding is that they are doing what could be the equivalent of a grand jury investigation, which is basically private, and then the info will come out at 'one' time for all to deal with. Why would it be shared with the Senate/Graham which becomes the JURY ? House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) and Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) on Friday introduced a resolution that would implement a rule change that would require the committees overseeing the impeachment inquiry to allow all members to have access to the proceedings, depositions and transcribed interviews. Its introduction comes after a group of House conservatives attempted to gain access to a closed-door impeachment hearing on Wednesday, where they were rebuffed since they did not sit on the House Intelligence Committee, House Foreign Affairs Committee or the House Oversight and Reform Committee. "The stakes are too high for Chairman [Adam] Schiff [D-Calif.] and Speaker [Nancy] Pelosi's [D-Calif.] impeachment proceedings to continue in secret. The American people's elected representatives have been denied access to relevant documents and the opportunity to attend depositions and transcribed interviews,” Scalise said in a statement. “Chairman Schiff wants to impeach President Trump behind closed doors and clearly has no intention of conducting a fair and open process. We demand transparency. For the sake of our republic, Members of Congress must have access to proceedings with such monumental and dangerous consequences.” Under the resolution, no member, delegate or resident commissioner could be denied access to the proceedings or documents. GOP lawmakers have been highly critical of the process Democrats have utilized since the formal inquiry launched four weeks ago, accusing Democrats of taking an unprecedented approach to impeachment that lacks transparency and alleging members across the aisle are “cherry-picking” the information being released in an attempt to sway public opinion in their favor. In a fiery exchange with House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) on the House floor Friday, Scalise blasted a rule change that allowed a whistleblower to submit a complaint using second-hand information, which was passed just before the complaint at the center of this inquiry was filed, alleging Democrats’ probe is politically motivated. “The way the standard for being a whistleblower used to be: first-hand information. Secretly, days before the whistleblower complaint was filed, after going to Chairman Schiff's staff and working with partisans to develop the whistleblower complaint, they changed the rules for even designating what is a whistleblower so it could allow second-hand information,” he said. “Who changed that rule? We would be curious to find out. You don't want us to find that out because you are holding all this in secret. Shouldn't we know what's really going on and what's behind this so-called whistleblower complaint that's been debunked?” Hoyer shot back, blasting the notion that they are conducting an unfair process, arguing valid concerns were raised in the whistleblower complaint that warrant a congressional probe. “We're going to continue to have what we believe are fair, proper, consistent with the rules, consistent with the Constitution of the United States, consistent with the laws of the United States of America, to find out whether this president has committed high crimes and misdemeanors, and then when we conclude an answer to that question, every member of this House will have availability of all the information,” Hoyer said, noting that Schiff sent a letter stating that once all the witnesses have testified members will have access to all of the information. ** thehill.com/homenews/house/466497-scalise-cole-introduce-resolution-to-change-rules-on-impeachment

THE emails: not editing, it's just here! 38 people cited for violations in Clinton email probeBy MATTHEW LEE and MARY CLARE JALONICK 47 minutes ago WASHINGTON (AP) — The State Department has completed its internal investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of private email and found violations by 38 people, some of whom may face disciplinary action. The investigation, launched more than three years ago, determined that those 38 people were “culpable” in 91 cases of sending classified information that ended up in Clinton’s personal email, according to a letter sent to Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley this week and released on Friday. The 38 are current and former State Department officials but were not identified. Although the report identified violations, it said investigators had found “no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information.” However, it also made clear that Clinton’s use of the private email had increased the vulnerability of classified information. The Associated Press sent an email seeking comment to a Clinton representative. The investigation covered 33,000 emails that Clinton turned over for review after her use of the private email account became public. The department said it found a total of 588 violations involving information then or now deemed to be classified but could not assign fault in 497 cases. For current and former officials, culpability means the violations will be noted in their files and will be considered when they apply for or go to renew security clearances. For current officials, there could also be some kind of disciplinary action. But it was not immediately clear what that would be. The report concluded “that the use of a private email system to conduct official business added an increased degree of risk of compromise as a private system lacks the network monitoring and intrusion detection capabilities of State Department networks.” The department began the review in 2016 after declaring 22 emails from Clinton’s private server to be “top secret.” Clinton was then running for president against Donald Trump, and Trump made the server a major focus of his campaign. Then-FBI Director James Comey held a news conference that year in which he criticized Clinton as “extremely careless” in her use of the private email server as secretary of state but said the FBI would not recommend charges. The Justice Department’s inspector general said FBI specialists did not find evidence that the server had been hacked, with one forensics agent saying he felt “fairly confident that there wasn’t an intrusion.” Grassley started investigating Clinton’s email server in 2017, when he was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. The Iowa Republican has been critical of Clinton’s handling of classified information and urged administrative sanctions. ** www.apnews.com/14b14afc5d8647858489a2cf5385c28d
