Happy Sunday everyone! Today's sketch is Sketch Savvy #62. And here is my take on the sketch: The photos I used are of my daughter a few days after her 6th birthday. Keeping with the "six" theme, my twist for today is to use 6 of the same type of embellishment, for 6 points. In my example I used 6 dots (I think I also used 6 flowers - but you can only claim the bonus points once). I used the 'Be An Optimist' kit by Cathy K Designs. Here is the link to the Photoshop template for any digital scrappers - I've only put the background squares and photos on it: Sketchtember 22 template

Love the sketch and your rendition - great chance to use all those pretty papers in bite-sized chunks! I love your tiny banner, use of splatter, and the transparent scalloped shape.

Chinagirl828 - Love it, wish I could think more out of the box like that. Here was my take, it feels a bit to busy for my taste but I managed to pump out a page and for the twist I used some puffy stickers.

Chinagirl828 I love how you used a pocket for memorabilia in place of one of the photos. Great photo too, and as a Beatles fan I'm jealous that you got to go to Penny Lane! I like the use of the slightly muted primary (and green) colours. Dictionary I'm loving your Disney pages, so much fun to look at. I love all the different patterned papers you used, they match so well with the photos. The title is amazing, and I love the cute little puffy stickers. Thanks for playing girls! I thought this was quite an easy sketch and was worried no-one was going to give it a go!

Thanks for the sketch AussieMeg . I turned it into a 2-pager so I could use all my photos. I really like the way it turned out. Fun..Fun..Fun

Great idea to turn it into a 2 pager nylene . I love the symmetry of your LO with the patterned paper squares on each side. The colours you have used are perfect for the photos, and I love the hearts and dots placed around the page.

I flipped the page over due to my photo orientation/overlap needs. Used squares only in checkerboard fashion, and stitched between them. And I loved where the sketch took this page! layout summer sleepovers by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I adapted the challenge to a card. Here is my version of the sketch: I used 6 half pearls for the twist.
