Looks like I am going to be able to replace some of my appliances.. WHOOT WHOOT.. hopefully all of them but the stove and dishwasher first since they are on their last legs. My go to is usually Lowe's because they are like a mile from us and seems like they have decent sales. But maybe I am zoning out somewhere that would be a better deal... Home Depot would be our next closest place which is right down the street from Lowe's. Am I forgetting something obvious?

All of the big box hardware stores, as you mentioned will have some.
Also, if you have nearby: - Costco - Sears (which is rare these days) - ABT - Best Buy
If you can wait until the next holiday sale to buy, you will get a great deal. Appliances are always bundled super cheap during holidays. And usually the more complete your "set" of appliances, the better deal you'll get.

Are you looking for perfection or price?I
I go to a local scratch & dent discount place, because I'd rather save a few hundred dollars than have it mansion perfect.
Do you have independently owned appliance stores near you? There are two near me, Family store #1 and Family store #2. Both will price match & beat the price of Lowe's & Home Depot.

We have a chain out here called Pacific Sales, and I like to go look there. I don’t know if they are national, but they are also set up in the Best Buy stores out here. I don’t know if that is National too since I haven’t been to a Best Buy outside of my county.

Yeah I was looking over Labor Day at the bundles which sounded good.. Just wish I had the money ready at that time. I think there are a couple of holidays coming up which I could wait for.. it's not urgent.
There are independent places in Denver, but they are pretty far from where I live. I don't have one in my own town. I could go to one of them if they deliver but not sure if I really want to go through the hassle. Same for scratch and dent.. nothing really that close to me, then finding several pieces that match would probably be close to impossible. Not that I am opposed to it. If I was just getting one thing, I would probably go that route.
I could check Costco. I am a member. I do know I looked there once and it seemed like they had way higher lines of appliances than what I can afford.. I am looking at your middle of the road stuff.. not the bottom priced stuff but not the most expensive. Although those fancy fridges make me drool.. lol

I like to go to a local appliance store. They will most often price match and do offer service, should it need repair down the line.

I guess they needed to diversify to keep the customers coming in.

The last couple of times we've needed appliances, we've gone to Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowes, and Sears. We've bought from Sears and Lowes. It usually just depends on who's running the best deal - free delivery/disposal, 6 mos no interest, etc.

Or Home Depot.. whoever is running the best deals. There is another place I just thought of .. I don't know if they are a chain or local. Appliance Warehouse I think it is called.

I look for my deal and then go to the grocery store for the gift cards to that store. Our store program gets money off gasoline when you buy food and gift cards. This way I reward myself first before paying the store for that big purchase. Happy shopping!

We bought the original appliances for the house from Nebraska Furniture Mart, through our contractor.
When we have had to replace a couple since then, we have gone to local appliance stores. We’ve had good service, with installation and removal/disposal of the old.

There is a mom and pop appliance store that we always shop at first. Great service and competitive pricing keep us returning.

If anybody is in northern Virginia we exclusively shop at Appliance Connection in Woodbridge, they have the best prices and service in the area and they deliver all over the area too.

Two years ago we remodeled our kitchen and replaced all four appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher). We did lots of research, including local appliance stores and found that Home Depot was the best buy. We also shopped a holiday sale (Labor Day) and by buying all four at the same time, we got the holiday sale price plus another few percent off (5?) for purchasing a bundle. Every little bit helped!

I recently bought a washer and dryer from Home Depot. In my area they have a better reputation than Lowe's. I have no complaints about anything...I even got a $200.00 discount for signing up for a Home Depot credit card, which I promptly canceled the next week after I paid the bill. There was no stipulation on that discount about keeping the account for any particular length of time so.... They deliver, install, and haul away your old appliances. The delivery people showed up exactly when they said they would, and the whole installation and hauling out the old ones was very fast.

my dad's fridge went out when we were in sun valley idaho. he had a long relationship with a local furniture/appliance store about 50 miles away. my dh and my dad drove down with the suburban truck, picked up a new fridge, was loaned a dolly to move it and drove back through a raging blizzard. someone came by in a couple of days and picked up the dolly... great service and always the best prices.. in the little town of Shoshone Idaho. (bozzuto's)..

I don't think Pacific Sales is national.. never heard of them... We do have Best Buy though... I never thought of them.. in fact, they carry appliances?? It's been forever since I have been in one. Pacific Sales is a California chain. However they are in Best Buy stores nationwide. We just bought an LG refrigerator from them here in Texas. In the past we've bought from Sears, but our store was one the ones that closed last year. Checked out Lowe's and Home Depot and neither had good service (as in not a soul ever spoke to us at the Lowe's), whereas Best Buy has always been helpful.

We go to Lowe's first then Home Depot.
We won't buy anything at Best Buy due to the fact they're on shaky ground. We buy all our computers, etc. at Costco, but Lowe's & Home Depot have great sales and if you want an extended warranty they're very reasonable.
Sears, sadly, is no more near us.

We have a Sears Grand that isn't to far, but not sure if I would want to buy from Sears at this point? Didn't know Best Buy was on shaky ground, so yeah, probably not. I think I am going to stay with Lowe's (or Home Depot), they are so close to us and the sales are usually good. There is a holiday coming up so maybe they will be even better deals. If I get my money together by then. Ya'll been helpful!!

Lowes works for us, although we did get our washer and dryer at Home Depot and that went well, too.

They had better prices than a lot of places around the Denver area from what I remember. I researched the heck out of stuff too. I ended up going with Home Depot for the fridge (specific one on sale and military discount was just too good a deal to pass). I got a kick ass deal on a floor model of stove that I never would have even looked at. In fact, the day I bought it, I was in there shopping for the dishwasher and ended up buying the stove instead. That kicked off replacing all the appliances instead of just the dishwasher that really needed it the most. ETA- If you can hold out until Black Friday, maybe there will be really good deals that day or that weekend?
