We found most of our at the Appliance Factory in Colorado Springs. We needed a special sized fridge and they had great prices. Only suggesting specifically because I know you are "in the neighborhood."

We lost our Sears stores last year. Now we would start looking first at Nebraska Furniture Mart, then either Lowes or Home Depot.

uggggg comparing prices sucks... lol.. just makes me tired... one store down (Costco) three more to go. Wish I could be independently wealthy and just go in and pick and leave.

I've always bought mine from Sears. I don't know that I would take the risk now though.

We're in Chicagoland, so we shop at Abt. Amazing selection, free shipping in our area (not sure how it works nationwide, but I do know they ship all over). Plus, the store is local and it's an experience to visit. Among many things, they're known for their free chocolate chip cookies.

We recently bought several appliances. We got a new Whirlpool stainless steel 5 burner gas stove from a scratch and dent place for $300, including a one year warranty. If I didn’t show you the dent, you’d never notice it otherwise. Got a matching Whirlpool stainless French door refrigerator with ice and water through the door from an appliance showroom place that DH uses for his business, it was a floor model they were replacing. $1800 refrigerator that we paid $1100. Got a new Bosch dishwasher from the same place, also a floor model that had never been hooked up. We paid $400 for it, anywhere else we would have paid twice that much. I always said I’d never buy another Bosch, but I brought my big ass Tupperware bowl and it fit so I let DH buy it, LOL.

ABC warehouse. honestly we make fun of them all the time because the salesmen seem like sharks, just circling and waiting for fresh meat lol. but we've bought an entire kitchen of appliances, a washer and a chest freezer from them now. they will price match, they have lower warranty costs usually too. they will price match up to 30 days past purchase, too. we bought our fridge on a good sale, and then it went on an amazing sale 2 weeks later (after i had been watching ads for months, go figure). i took the ad in, and no fuss at all, they said "ok, that's a great deal!" and did the paperwork immediately. i received a check for almost $250 a week later!
we've also had a warranty claim on our fridge, and they were very prompt about service and approval. they subcontract that part out, but the repairs still have to be ok'd by ABC.
would highly recommend them for good deals, even if it feels sometimes like a used car dealership lol.

Local appliance store and Abt Electronics. My repairman told me not to shop at Best Buy for appliances.
