I have been laid with severe back for the past five weeks and have been watching, & rewatching some of my favorite JA films.
Did you know that in the Emma movie with Gwyneth P, Miss Bates is played by Emma Thompson’s sister, Sophie, and that their mother, Phyllis’s Law, was Mrs Bates??
Or that Emma T met her dh, Greg Wise, on the set of Sense & Sensibility. He played the dashing scoundrel, Willoughby!
I love British shows. Especially seeing the same actors in different but similar roles, like Hugh Bonneville.
