Did they give you any information about the suspicious areas? Aka, the type of mass, size, shadowing, if it was circumscribed, non-circumscribed?

Thanks for the update. Try not to worry yourself overly much while you wait! (Yeah, I know...) I've had biopsies a couple of times and they've been negative, so here's hoping you join that club!

Just wanted you to know, I’m thinking of you and sending good thoughts for your biopsy to go well. Did they give you any information about the suspicious areas? Aka, the type of mass, size, shadowing, if it was circumscribed, non-circumscribed? The doctor really gave me no information about size except that one spot cannot be felt. She was pretty confident the one I felt is a calcium deposit but is unsure about the other spot she saw on ultrasound. Hence the two biopsies. I’m feeling pretty confident. The doctor said sometimes they have people wait and come back but she was going with her gut and doing the biopsies. I also have a friend that works in the office and will be there as support. DH wanted to take the day off and go with me but I told him not to. I felt he would have to wait out in the main waiting room since in the back waiting room most of the ladies are in gowns from the waist up so I wouldn’t be with him anyway. Plus just in case they do find something I want him to save his days. Thanks for listening. |

I'm sorry the news wasn't better but once you know details and have a treatment plan in place, it will give you something to focus on. Please keep us posted and I am sending you lots of prayers. I am a 10-year Triple Negative Breast Cancer survivor. Good for you for seeking answers when you felt something was wrong.

It was found early. You will take this journey one day at a time.
May I suggest buying a binder to use as a medical information binder? It will be a place to put all of your print outs, a calendar sheet to keep track of appointments, lined paper to write down questions as you think of them (leave space to jot down doctor answers).

Wow. I know this is startling, but can you just pat yourself on the back for checking out that initial spot? Because you followed up on your instincts, they found that second spot. I’m sorry that you are dealing with this, but I encourage you to listen to your instincts!
