How is everyone? Ready for a weekend? I'm working this weekend, but have days off before and after. Adulting going OK for all? Any craftiness happening?
I'm beginning...gasp!...to anticipate the Christmas season! I think it's the seasonal scrapbook items. So pretty. So rarely used (by me).
I have things in my cart at 2 stores that are for Christmas cards, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Just typing that made me open my cart again and consider finalizing...

Well we had a rainy weekend here in Central Oregon, and my house is still dismantled for painting. They are not finished so I was not able to put much back together. I did wash all the light fixtures (individual spot light style 30 or so) and large fixtures that were removed for painting. DS#1 and DS#2 put all the individual ones back up in the ceiling. So nice to have light again. But I got to scrap instead without feeling guilty!
Today they are doing trim in about 1/2 the house: hallway, entry way, dining room, living room, kitchen, utility room, and rec room. We still have the boys bathroom, guest room & bath, DS#1 room, my craft room, and the master suite. So maybe halfway done? My goal is that it is all done by Nov 1st. Fingers crossed!
Hope everyone is doing well!

I hit my stride early in and with my kids bust schedules I’ve slowed down! I’m hoping to get some done this afternoon before Bible study since we finished school already. Here’s to hoping the kids will give me a break!

I’m putting the finishing touches on 2 more layouts. I’m definitely feeling overwhelmed by supplies, realizing just how much I have 😬. Lots of things I love and look forward to scrapping with. I’m not ready or have the energy to overhaul and purge, so I think I’ll set aside a box, and purge as I go. I still have an overwhelming amount of paper, even though I purged some recently. My stomach issues are finally getting better-(colitis) have had issues since February so I’m pretty relieved about that for sure. My photos are a mess, I will definitely be working on them for the next few days. I keep taking notes but I still forget a lot. It’s pretty frustrating. I have issues with memory, so I need to come up with something that will make everything less frustrating. Anyone scrapping this weekend?

@dasmith - glad you are finally feeling a bit better! My photos are a disaster really. My biggest problem is that I haven't printed anything since last November, so I'm a whole YEAR behind on organizing/collecting/editing photos. I'm paralyzed to even start. I have to download them from Amazon first, because my computer crashed, just so frustrating. Plus, we have 4 phones and a 2 cameras to empty of photos, and I stress that I will MISS ALL THE PHOTOS. Stupid. I have NONE because I'm worried I'll miss ONE.
I have a full day today (gym, store, company) but after supper hope to squeeze in a couple of hours. Tomorrow should offer up a little more time. I'm in the middle of a layout and want to finish it up.

Thanks to kitbop 's fun LO with Bella Blvds Adventure line, I may have made an impulsive order from Scrapbook.com. Now I just saw the Hip Kit Club's November kit and I want to add all of it to my monthly kit since they are all exclusives and I'm liking the scheme. Seriously can't let DH know just exactly how much I am spending this month on scrapbooking! At least he is seeing me use it and progress on the books. He even made a comment about them today and he has to know that costs money, right?

Ugh, I had such high hopes for this month. But as usual life has gotten in the way <sigh> On the 8th I started training for a new position at work and on the 13th we brought dh’s new puppy home. I miss sleeping Dh works nights so I’m the one getting up with the puppy. And since I work from home I’m the one watching him during the day too. I have been hiding in my craft room the past week when I can I think I have 30 cards done and another 16 cut out. I also hid back there and cleaned for four hours today! Hopefully tomorrow I can put the cards together I started and then tally some points!

WTG gmcwife1! My intention this month was to finish 6 cards. I've done 2... I finish a layout, and *should* do some cardmaking, but get drawn back into another layout. I'm waiting for 2 orders (small) of stamps/dies for Christmas card making, and if those had arrived I'd have more motivation. OK, promise, I'll play with some cards tonight and let you guys know tomorrow morning how I did!

I’m hoping to scrap tomorrow and finish the layout I started the other day. I’ve been struggling a lot this year, was diagnosed with Major Depression and I have good days and bad. Scrapping helps so much so fingers crossed I feel better tomorrow. I love seeing all the inspiration and scrap chat it helps too!

I'm so proud of myself! I have 37 pages completed so far for the month! The past few months I was lucky to get one, maybe two so this is a huge accomplishment. I didn't finish my vacation album like I had hoped, but I'm feeling accomplished. I think I'll be able to add in a few more pages tomorrow and then hopefully finish it up next month.

I'm so proud of myself! I have 37 pages completed so far for the month I'm impressed! I've done fairly well - for me - this month with about 10 or 11 layouts. And this is it for October! Holy speeding Autumn Batman! I don't need points until Nov. 4 be because we have until Nov. 3 to work on the card challenges if you are going for the 50 bonus points. Is anyone here on track for this? Apparently I suck at cardmaking... Last night, I sat down to make a card, and ended up in my December Daily instead (2016. I'm 2 years behind. So it shows you that DD is something I procrastinate on until I'm faced with maybe making a card )

I don't do cards. I tried on this month, but really I am not good at them. PL is tough for me. I think it's the small constrained space? I am a traditional 12 x 12 scrapbooker so that's where I do my best.

I'm pleased I got 7 cards done for the challenge, but I'm disappointed because some stuff came up for the last 10 days of October that I was scrambling to deal with so I lost all of my crafty mojo! Still, at least it wasn't a complete fail!

I'll get my point total in hopefully tonight or tomorrow night. I finished my last pages on the 31st and I haven't counted those or the ones I did on the 30th yet.

No rush on point totals, I've been asked to have a total by Tuesday. DawnMcD - please don't feel that way! I keep saying: the goal is to have people here and sharing, and if you have a less crafty month, so be it! You could join my team for November? I'm one shy in numbers anyways

Hey October peeps, I'm adding up points. I have totals (from here, or the points thread) for many of you. gmcwife1, I know you made a bunch of cards - care to wager how many points you collected? You can make a rough guess! DawnMcD, your card counts! What points do you guess? And @dasmith, did you get into your scrappy space at all? You could use the November "20 points/layout, 10 points/card" idea if you don't want to add. Great job ladies - whether we were super productive ( boymom5 gets a big points award!) or just hanging out here, the point is community.

Ok, I have 554 points. 18 Critter Christmas cards = 162 challenges - embossing/33, 6x6/35, faux stitching/42, dies/58, flags/labels/59, rectangles/65, square/66; card challenge/2, create = 9x18=162
14 Santa cards = 392 challenges - circle/18, dies/58, rectangle/65, dies cut/71, card challenge 3/layers, share, create, double daze/x4 = 392
Thank you for getting me to post my points! I will do better in November!
