My Wednesday card challenges will all involve critters and cuties. Define those how you will but I'm thinking if it has a face it probably qualifies. The challenge today is to use LOTS of critters or cuties on a card. Maybe that means using a patterned paper, a stamp with a gathering of critters, or several individual stamps or die cut critters. Take a point for every cutie or critter you use (even if they’re part of a single stamp or patterned paper) up to 10 points. My card sample earns 4 points for 4 critters: Critter cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr

That is super cute, nylene!
Now I want to make a card like each of yours, but I probably should be a bit more original.....

Love the sunbathing hippo, scrappington ! You don’t need to be part of a team to play along with the challenges. joblackford you may have just made Taylored Expressions some money. Trying hard to resist their Christmas Critter stamps & dies, but...

Dictionary so fun! Who makes those yeti stamps? I love the sentiment too - it's a good balance between bold and not too big. scrappington what a fun scene card I love all your layers and layers of die cuts. I played along with the challenges last year without being part of a team and made lots of cards and tried new things. It was a blast. grammadee didn't pull me over to the dark (team) side until this summer!

adorable card scrappington - glad you're playing along super cute yetis Dictionary Here's my attempt - I've never ever used stamps with matching dies before so this was a learning process for me - and I rarely stamp (which is probably obvious as it needs more practise)

Such a cute card Linda ! The torn edges for the waves is such a great idea, and I love a good pun btw I'm pretty sure the secret to getting the stamping and die cutting just right is making a TON of them and throwing away all the duds! A stamp positioner helps too. It's all about do overs. I used to think I was bad at stamping until I watched process videos where people did 10 impressions to get one perfect one. lol. Thanks for playing along and stepping out of your comfort zone.

Thank you joblackford - and I appreciate the advise. I don't have a stamp positioner but perhaps if I start stamping more it would be a good purchase

Cute cards, Linda and gramma! I’m a sucker for cute critters and kids, anyway. For the challenge, I made a box card. I used print and cut images of hedgehogs from the Silhouette Design Store for my critters. I took the photo at an odd angle to try to show the different little hedgehogs. Hopefully you can see them okay.

Disclaimer: sh*tty cardmaker coming through! (I only make about five a year so erm, my style is "rustic" at best) Made this little Halloween card after a fever-induced galaxy background madness. With watercolours. On regular cardstock, not even watercolour paper. Don't ask. I'm currently sick and everything I do to try and keep myself a bit busy is... special. This is only the front panel as my heavyweight cardstock order is currently stuck in customs. joblackford You said a face count, right? I'm going to grab a point for the Jack-o-lantern if you don't mind.
