Spellbinders October Card Kit is great this month (Oct) and would make lovely holiday cards and/or DD/JYC pages. Good value, esp. for those w/o a large stash. Very ice blue/purple/silver tho vs. traditional holiday colors. Love the dies and the papers. Here's Vicky's take

I saw this last night and thought it was a great option for those who love purple as well as Christmas.

I didn't click on that video because I don't need any more stuff! And Vicki is the master of making things seem like MUST HAVEs. lol. She's dangerous... The kit does look quite lovely, and would work well for a winter theme too, perhaps for people who know they won't send their Xmas cards until January. Or as you said, for someone not wanting to use the traditional reds and greens of Christmas. Those dies look very skinny though - knowing my clumsiness that would worry me. I usually choose bold lettering. Yay, that saves me some money! Thank you for sharing the temptation/information

Thank you for sharing the temptation/information That's what I'm here for Seriously though I've seen Vicky, Cards & Coffee, and the Thank You lady all use the dies and they all seemed to handle them pretty well. But I know what you mean about the skinny dies. They look great but they're easier to rip getting out of the die.

Those dies look very skinny though - knowing my clumsiness that would worry me. I usually choose bold lettering. If it's extra thin/fine, I don't bother and just use some MT washi tape to gently "sticky lift" the die-cut from the die. If that's what you're worried about.
