Here is yesterday's thread for you. I had a super super lazy day yesterday, and ended up not going to the gym because I had a bit of a headache. We'll see if today goes any better. Would you guys like it if I tried to find something to post everyday? Whether it be a workout, inspiration, healthy recipe or meal idea? Or better yet, what would you like to see from me? I am open to suggestions. Have a good day, and sorry this is up so late. If I'm up super late again like last night, I'll post the new thread before I go to bed in the future.

Hi Annie! If you want to take the time to find something to post, that's a great idea. There's a ton of food and fitness blogs out there with some great ideas every day.
I had a good workout yesterday, my trainer is out of town and I had a sub, who I really liked. It was different than what we usually do, in a very good way. I've learned so much having a trainer, I'm a little sad this is my last month with her (it's just too expensive for me to justify). I know I've learned how to work out on my own in a different way than I was working out before. It's amazing to me how much stronger I look and feel after 2 months.

I totally understand about money. I got a credit when I joined my gym last month. I could have used it either for one session with a trainer, or pay a bit more and get a group class with a trainer for a month, so I chose the class to make my money go a bit further. I wish I could afford a personal trainer to kick my butt into shape. I love when you actually can start seeing the changes though. It makes it all worth it.

I know about working out with a trainer. I did it for a year and couldn't believe what kind of shape I was in and what that guy could get me to do. I know I will never work out that hard on my own. I had a great day yesterday. Went on a very long walk with dh. Got in almost 15,000 steps on the day. Eating was fantastic. Hoping to keep that going.

Glad to see this thread! I've been AWOL from any gym or real exercise for too long. Last year I was training 2-4 times per week for a triathlon. I have been a major slacker this year so far. I have decided to re-join a gym. I like this one that is really out of my way and there are 3 other gyms / wellness centers that are closer for me but I have several really motivating friends that go to this place. They have some great classes and great times so I think I'll actually GO. I work 3 twelve-hour shifts or more each week and have to be in by 0630. I'm not going before or after my shift and I really hate getting up at 0500 just to go to the classes on my off days. I just can't.
The classes run pretty much all day long at this place and it looks like they will really fit with my routine. I'm excited!!
I hope to be a regular on these fitness threads!

I did a great workout yesterday. I burned almost 400 calories in my hour. My eating was great, I got in the pool. So overall it was a great day. I stepped on the scale this morning and I was up 3 lbs! I know my body fluctuates but man, I hate seeing it up that much after a good day. Doesn't bother me too much though because I know in the grand scheme of things, I'm doing my best and I'm seeing results. Today is supposed to be a hot one here in New England...90s. So a friend and her girls are coming over to swim after lunch. Her youngest is a little fearful of the water and I told my friend I'd stay in the pool all afternoon unless her dd feels comfortable with me getting out. So it looks like a fun day ahead for me! Dinner tonight is chicken tacos for the kids and dh and I'll have a taco salad with just a mix of lettuces topped with the taco chicken, light cheese and 2 hard shelled tacos. One of my favorite summertime dinners!!
