Then I read The Dutch House. Actually I should say I listened to it and as posted above Tom Hanks is fabulous That sounds promising...I'm just about to start listening.

I'm reading The Things We Can Not Say by Kelly Rimmer Both my mother and I read this a few months ago and we both really liked it as well. Also reading Once Upon A River - curious if anyone else has read it. I’m enjoying it especially as a fall book. It was just OK for me, I didn't really connect with the folklore element and it was also a bit too slow and I got bored with the "over-telling" of the same story

I'm reading The Things We Can Not Say by Kelly Rimmer. OMG, what a beautiful, heartbreaking book. It's set in Poland during WW II. It also goes back and forth to present day. I haven't read a WW II book in a while because of how sad they are, this one is of course but the writing is great and I'm loving the story. I'm having a hard time putting it down. One of my favorite reads of the year. It's amazing. All the feels. Lisa
