Then I read The Dutch House. Actually I should say I listened to it and as posted above Tom Hanks is fabulous That sounds promising...I'm just about to start listening. |

I'm reading The Things We Can Not Say by Kelly Rimmer Both my mother and I read this a few months ago and we both really liked it as well. Also reading Once Upon A River - curious if anyone else has read it. I’m enjoying it especially as a fall book. It was just OK for me, I didn't really connect with the folklore element and it was also a bit too slow and I got bored with the "over-telling" of the same story |

I'm reading The Things We Can Not Say by Kelly Rimmer. OMG, what a beautiful, heartbreaking book. It's set in Poland during WW II. It also goes back and forth to present day. I haven't read a WW II book in a while because of how sad they are, this one is of course but the writing is great and I'm loving the story. I'm having a hard time putting it down. One of my favorite reads of the year. It's amazing. All the feels.  Lisa |
