Hi!
I came home from TJs with some Granny Smith apples and a frozen GF crust. Would love your tried and true apple pie recipes, please.

cut up apples, add a tablespoon or two of flour, about 1 scant cup of sugar.. layer slices in crust with dots of butter and sprinkles of cinnamon and nutmeg.. super simple. for the top, mix about 1/3 cup butter, 2/3 cup brown sugar.. chopped nuts if you want.. 1 teaspoon of cinnamon..
keep it simple..

I agree with ntsf's recipe but I add Cardamom.
