I got a Skyscanner alert that the flights I have been looking at to Rome next May dropped 50%. The round trips that were $1100ish are now $640ish. I’m ready to pull the trigger but mentioned it to a coworker who said that sounded really good but she got great fares to Scotland when she booked last cyber Monday. So, do I wait to see if better fares come up?
Tell me about any great fares you got on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Huh? I never even thought about Cyber Monday or Black Friday travel deals, but then I have never been looking to book travel atbthat time. I didn’t know this was a thing, but now I’ll have to add that to my holiday shopping list!

I don't know, but that is enough of a drop that I would be afraid that enough other people would purchase and there won't be an additional drop. Waiting over a month would be a big risk.

yes - November.
So, I bit the bullet and bought the tickets. Today's Skyscanner alert had the prices back up in the 1K's, so I'm feeling good about pulling the trigger.
