I think I’m going to get most of the day at home to myself on Saturday so I’m planning to scrapbook. It’s been awhile since I had a day like this to myself and I was thinking what I want to listen to...radio, tv show, podcast...or glorious silence!! Tell me what you watch or listen to...I might have to steal your ideas, lol!

I listen to Dave Ramsey....his advice is always the same (get out of debt) so II don't really have to listen to what he's actually saying.

The West Wing, MLB Network, YouTube (typically not scrapbooking), "created for you" spotify playlist, podcast (Office Ladies is new and it was good. West Wing Weekly), or a Twitch streamer playing Sims.

I like show tunes and I have about a zillion recordings that I scrap and sing along with, depending on my mood. My number one album to scrap to is the original cast recording of "Jesus Christ Superstar". I have no idea why, possibly because it's so long (and rockin'!)
I also like listening to either the History Chicks podcasts or Casefile True Crime, because again, they're long.

Sometimes I’ll put on YouTube craft channels or music, but more often if I have a whole day, I’ll put on a movie I’ve seen a zillion times so I don’t need to watch, otherwise I get sucked into the show. There is also many time I just like glorious silence.

I dvr every show that I watch so I don't have to listen to commercials. I usually catch up on dvr'd shows or I watch HGTV. I can't watch YouTube I like to watch everything. TV, not so much.

I cast YouTube to my tv. It’s great because I can create a queue of what I’m interested in that day. I don’t necessarily have to see everything, but I like the crafty talk in the background.

I like to catch up on late night comedy shows on YouTube. Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers. Also SNL.
I'll listen to an audiobook, but only one I've read previously, so i don't have to pay careful attention to follow the plot (because i already know it).

While making fun, happy kid cards, I listen to true crime podcasts. It's a dichotomy, I tell ya!

Glorious silence for me. I purposely did NOT have a TV put in my studio. I love the peace and quiet!

I like to create to a tv show without laughter or a scary/serious type movie. No commercials. I get into a zone. Hoping to get some craft time today while hubby works and kids are all at their dads!

Either a movie I've seen before or a TV show that doesn't necessarily require my full attention all the time. Also Outlander. Repeatedly. I've lost count of how many times I've rewatched that show!

I like silence or very low chatter, so I might have my TV on in the background- maybe. I do not want anything on that distracts me and makes me took up to watch, nor do I want it right there next to me.
I don't think we enjoy silence enough. There is always something droning on around us.

Old episodes of 90210, or 1 of 4 movies: Waitress, Newsies, Greatest Showman or Beauty and the Beast. At Christmas, it's Love Actually.
or
show tunes
or
silence
If I'm just organizing or cleaning up, I may watch a Netflix show of a series I am into.

The only time I listen to something is Thanksgiving break till New Years. I have Amazon Prime Music on my phone and will listen to my playlist of Christmas music or play a station.
The rest of the year, I scrap in silence. There is home noise from the kids, dh, and the dogs but I don't actively listen to or watch anything.
Having 2 Aspie/ASD, SPD kids...I get enough noise during the day LOL

If I'm home, it's usually quiet. I'm an early morning crafter. But if I get to craft all day, I like some music. James Taylor, John Mayer, Norah Jones, ...

I have to have music playing. The music depends on what I'm working on or my mood. I couldn't concentrate if I had a tv in my room.

If I'm in the mood for something other than silence (rare), 1hr rain soundtrack set on loop.

I've put on repeats of either TV series or movies as well - if I put on something new, I just sit there and get absolutely nothing accomplished. I just found SiriusXM has a Johnny Carson channel which I've been listening to driving home. I thought it wouldn't be as funny, but it is great fun and it's neat to hear the voices from those that are gone now. I'm thinking I might put tell Alexa to play that this weekend and see how I do!

If I'm crafting alone at home, sometimes I'll put "Forensic Files" on Amazon Video. I've seen pretty much every episode, so I can just half-listen.

TV shows or movies I've seen a dozen times before that don't require much attention. I prefer funny and stupid funny for background noise.
Golden Girls Gilmore Girls The Middle Pretty much any movie that have SNL alum The Office Parks and Rec
For music, I found a list of walking songs on Spotify. They have a nice steady tempo.
