Hi -
I have a friend that has many cartridges downloaded onto her Cricut Gypsy that she can't seem to get downloaded onto Design Space. She reached out to Cricut several times but no one has gotten back to her. I know there must be a trick for this - does anyone know what it is?
Thanks.

Has she called the Cricut help line? I had some that needed to be transferred and they added them for me.

That is frustrating that they won’t call you back. If possible, I would just wait on hold till you get someone....just put the phone on speaker and scrapbook or something till you get through and can actually talk to them. That is what I did in the past. I’m not sure if it is still an option.
If the Gypsy still works, there is supposed to be a way to transfer them, but I don’t know what the process is. I suggest doing a Google or YouTube search.
Their customer service had to help me with mine because my Gypsy didn’t seem to want to turn on.
I had to email photos of every cartridge, and they loaded them to my account on their end. Royal pain, and it took a few weeks, but they did it. However, they did not tell me to send a photo of the Gypsy, so I didn’t, and they did NOT load the cartridges that I got free with my Gypsy. At that point, I was just grateful to get the 100+ carts that I had bought to Design Space, so I chose not to make an issue of it.

You used to be able to use Cricut Craft room to link the Gypsy to to transfer cartridges. Now you have to take pictures and send them in an email to get them to add them to your account.

See if she can chat live with a representative. She can do it through cricut.com.
