What did you think? Kind of funny, kind of stupid but I actually felt uncomfortable for the female lead when she kept ranting and her boyfriend was kneeling down with the ring and all those people were there for the party.

You have to like the lead actress if you want to like the show. She is a little over the top sometimes. I thought it was ok. The main couple has good chemistry, which is good.

Dh said it was not worth watching again. I will probably give it another chance or two. I think it has something that could be appealing humor-wise, but they need to back off on the ridiculousness a notch or so. Not sure that makes sense.
I am always hoping for something good in the new fall shows, but our list of shows is getting smaller all the time.

I missed it but it's on my DVR. I may just skip it..it's not like I don't have dozens of other things to catch up on.

I was not impressed. It just seems weird to me. Even though it is not real life, I was very uncomfortable for everyone in that episode. That said, I might watch it during reruns, just to see if it gets better.

It's on my dvr, but I haven't watched it yet. I really liked the lead actress in Happy Endings, so I hope I'm not disappointed.

I kind of liked it!  There were a couple laugh out loud moments for me. The network was really pushing it. We also watched About A Boy after. I think the kid is already too big for the role. His voice has changed a lot from last season!! |

There were some good jokes, like the drag queen comment. She is way too neurotic and it doesn't always come off as funny. So, yeah, they need to dial that down a few notches.

The writing is funny. The actress is good. I liked the show Happy Endings a lot, but at least there were other characters.
The problem with this show is that nobody talks like that. They are cartoonish. It's not real at all.
I hope it gets better. There were some funny jokes but they got lost. I'm all for quick banter but this was trying too hard.
