Mine finally says "packing". I'm so anxious to get this kit! Just curious if anyone has received theirs yet. If so, what do you think?

Mine came yesterday. I got the blue album. I really like the stamps that fit the gold labels, the 3 x 8 protectors and the card pad. I watched the video and think it will be really neat to turn these into daily page dividers.

I got mine. Disappointed at first glance. It feels very Martha Stewart antiseptic to me, not inspiring. And now I see that the digital files are an extra $20, and not included in the kit.  Album is Studio Calico brand and feels cheaper than I imagined, though the blue color is lovely. Reserving final judgement until I see how Ali uses the products, but so far not inspired. |

Thank you for all of your replies! I did watch the video but I was wondering about the product in hand, the quality. Thanks Carolyn for your input! Mine should hopefully be coming on Friday. I was hoping for a nice quality and I wouldn't regret spending the $50. I didn't realize the digital files are so much extra!? That stinks!

I got mine. I got the gray album. I do think the quality is down a bit on the album, the rest of the kit looked good.

I only ordered the kit, no album. Before I had inquired if the page protectors fit a regular album and they do not, so that's why I passed. Apparently different page protectors than shown on AE website shipped from SC. AE said, she'd be adjusting the design. For those wanting to add more page protectors - they are as of now not in stock.
I do like the kit. As OP mentioned, a bit Martha Stewart-ish. However, the neutral pallette is nice because I will add my own color pops (Halloween themed). Quality is nice.
The stamps are nice but nothing new. They can be used (in moderation) for the PL format.

I got the kit and I actually loved it, I loved how clean and simple it is. I went for the white album and it is fine, though I know some have issues. The page protectors that were wrong, was they sent an extra set with the 12 squares in it as opposed to a 6x8 , i just decided to do my last page as 12 pics I loved through the week rather than try get a 6x8. Only 2 days to complete and it is done  |

Well, I really wish the new page protectors were available as I'm at a stopping point. The more I work with the new handbook, the more I notice the decrease in quality too.

That sucks your album no good, Mines was perfect and great quality and the new page protectors are much more thicker/sturdier. Only one is wrong though, I managed to complete my album using what we got, did you see the plan ali shared? I did it that way (first year so I had no clue what I was doing) Hope you get it finished. |

Only one is wrong though, I managed to complete my album using what we got, did you see the plan ali shared? I did it that way (first year so I had no clue what I was doing) Hope you get it finished. The spine of my new handbook definitely is not as sturdy as the old handbooks I have. The page protectors are nice but I have a ton more photos I wanted to add. I have PS but I am hopeless at it LOL it took me ages to work out how to do that 6x8 with lots of help. You will need to share once it is complete. |
