So, dt may have known Lev Parnas better then others thought!! (There is an embedded video in the article) Videos show indicted Giuliani associate standing behind Trump at 2018 rallyBy Andrew Kaczynski, Em Steck and Nathan McDermott, CNN Updated 12:15 PM ET, Fri November 1, 2019 Video shows indicted Giuliani associate at Trump rally(CNN) News footage from an October 20, 2018, midterm election rally in Nevada shows indicted Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas standing behind President Donald Trump.Parnas and his business partner and fellow Giuliani associate, Igor Fruman, are alleged by prosecutors to have illegally funded donations from foreign nations to Republican political campaigns in attempts to buy influence. They are also alleged to have aided Giuliani, the President's personal attorney, in efforts to dig up political dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden. The video of the rally is the latest example of how the pair who had little record of donations to candidates before 2018, wielded their proximity to Giuliani and used political donations to gain access to the president and political campaigns. Photos and videos throughout 2018 and 2019 show the pair traveling with the former New York City mayor throughout the world and to political events across the country. The footage was found by CNN's KFile during a review of the travel and political activity of Giuliani, Parnas and Fruman. ** www.cnn.com/2019/11/01/politics/kfile-parnas-trump-rally-video/index.html

He is just such a terrible person. Why doesn’t anyone sue him for defamation? Because one cannot sue the president! The Supreme Court allowed Paula Jones’ lawsuit against Bill Clinton to go forward while he was the sitting president. That set a precedent for the future. I’m not sure if the circumstances would be different now. Where are our lawyers? Montannie lizacreates Sarah*H Who else?

This from trump..
”If Shifty Adam Schiff, who is a corrupt politician who fraudulently made up what I said on the “call,” is allowed to release transcripts of the Never Trumpers & others that are & were interviewed, he will change the words that were said to suit the Dems purposes. Republicans...”
”should give their own transcripts of the interviews to contrast with Schiff’s manipulated propaganda. House Republicans must have nothing to do with Shifty’s rendition of those interviews. He is a proven liar, leaker & freak who is really the one who should be impeached!”
Prompted this from Greg Sargent..
”Trump is now calling on Republicans to release doctored transcripts of the witness interviews.
Let's not pretend this is anything other than that.”

Ted Lieu...
”Dear @realdonaldtrump: The deposition transcripts were all recorded by official stenographers & reviewed by the witnesses.
And if you are so scared of the full witness transcripts, I can't imagine how you're going to feel when we hold televised hearings with the same witnesses.”

linkNewsweek... “NEARLY TWO-THIRDS OF AMERICANS SAY TRUMP HAS NOT HELPED THEIR FINANCIAL STANDING”From the article.. ”Nearly two-thirds of U.S. voters said they are not better of financially since Donald Trump took office, a new poll of likely voters finds. The October 2019 poll conducted by the Financial Times and the Peter G. Peterson Foundation found that 31 percent of potential U.S. voters reported being worse off financially since Trump took office in January 2017. An additional third of Americans surveyed, 33 percent, said there has been no change in their financial status under the Trump administration. Just over one-third of those surveyed, 35 percent, said they were better off since Trump moved into the White House. Overall U.S. economic data shows growth of the nation's gross domestic product by 1.9 percent in this most recent third quarter. And Trump has repeatedly touted consistent stock market gains since he's been in office. "All-Time High for Stock Market and all the Fake News wants to talk about is the Impeachment Hoax!" he tweeted Monday morning. "Stock Market hits RECORD HIGH. Spend your money well!" he also remarked on Twitter Monday.“

However, those millions of acres of Federal forest land in California most certainly are the responsibility of the nation’s chief executive. He sucks.

and --the fires this time were a lot on grasslands, vineyards, shrubland, houses, and so on.. not forests, and not forests controlled by CA. One calfire chief said that Newsom had fast tracked about 30 projects to promote fire mitigation and preparation and he felt the governor was doing a lot to move things along. newsom has been out talking to victims, to firefighters, to business people and he is getting after the utilities to do better.
course, trump knows absolutely nothing about forest management-- debris on the floor is vital to forest and animal health. i'll listen to him when he can define fuel load....

There is no prohibition against suing the President in civil court and there is actually no prohibition against states charging him with crimes. There is simply a secret memo hidden in the bowels of the justice dept. which says he can't be charged with federal crimes. Two federal courts have recently expressed deep skepticism about the legal validity of this position.

“On August 3, 1990, President of the United States George H. W. Bush declared the month of November as National American Indian Heritage Month, thereafter commonly referred to as Native American Heritage Month. First sponsor of "American Indian Heritage Month" was through the American Indian Heritage Foundation by the founder Pale Moon Rose, of Cherokee-Seneca descent and an adopted Ojibwa, whose Indian name Win-yan-sa-han-wi "Princess of the Pale Moon" was given to her by Alfred Michael "Chief" Venne [1][2]”
”Trump rejects Native American Heritage Month, proclaims November “National American History and Founders Month.”
From: The White House
“Presidential Proclamation on National American History and Founders Month, 2019“
“Over 243 years ago, our Founders gathered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at Independence Hall to sign the Declaration of Independence, enshrining in the heart of every American a bedrock principle that all men are “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.” Throughout our Nation’s history, countless men and women have boldly defended this principle, often making the ultimate sacrifice on battlefields here and in every corner of the world. From overthrowing tyrannical rule in the Revolutionary War to liberating Europe from Nazi control during World War II, the United States will always remain steadfast in our dedication to promoting liberty and justice over the evil forces of oppression and indignity. This same truth fuels us in our efforts to confront the challenges that face our citizens here at home, including protecting precious religious liberties, securing our Nation’s borders, and combating the opioid crisis. During National American History and Founders Month, we celebrate the vibrant American spirit that drives our Nation to remarkable heights.
Our Nation’s patriots and heroes have always been guided by the belief that America must shine brightly out into the world. Indeed, this conviction has been at the forefront of the American experiment since our founding. This month, we acknowledge the tremendous strides we have made as a people and recognize that our democracy’s survival is dependent upon a well-informed electorate. To ensure the success of our future generations, we pledge to continue to build a more educated citizenry. We heed the warning of President Ronald Reagan that “freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”
To continue safeguarding our freedom, we must develop a deeper understanding of our American story. Studying our country’s founding documents and exploring our unique history — both the achievements and challenges — is indispensable to the future success of our great Nation. For more than two centuries, the American experiment in self-government has been the antithesis to tyranny, and our Constitution has secured the blessings of liberty. From the triumphs of war to the victories of the Civil Rights Movement to placing the first ever man on the moon 50 years ago, our Nation has time and again exhibited an unparalleled ability to achieve extraordinary feats. To continue to advance liberty and prosperity, we must ensure the next generation of leaders is steeped in the proud history of our country.
On this inaugural National American History and Founders Month, I encourage all citizens to reflect upon the defining tenets that have always united us as Americans, while also taking time to honor those who have contributed to the great story of our country. As Americans, may we forever strive to preserve their legacy for generations to come.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim November 2019 as National American History and Founders Month. I call upon the people of the United States to observe this month with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirty-first day of October, in the year of our Lord two thousand nineteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-fourth.
He really is a racist SOB isn’t he.
