Adding my thanks!
I recently bought the envelope maker on HSN so I could make custom envelopes with liners. I love those.
My husband's grandfather "adopted" me when I was in high school. My last grandmother had just died of cancer, and I had just returned to school to attend my now dh's high school graduation. Grandpa felt bad that I no longer had grandparents, and he was so thrilled at the positive changes he saw in his grandson after we started dating.
Grandpa treated me just like the rest of his grandchildren, sending me cards and small presents on my birthday and at Christmas. We had a lot in common because we were both pilots and both loved art and architecture.
Grandpa would pick out really nice stationery from Crane's. He sent the cards with my MIL, but he insisted that she tell me that he picked them out himself. That small kindness meant so much to me--I can imagine him in the store looking for stationery "special" enough for me.
Grandpa loved clean lines like me, but he also liked small touches of ornate papers. I had never seen envelopes lined with gorgeous art papers before, and I loved them so much, I couldn't use them all.
I've always bought larger white envelopes to "decorate" so they'd fit the ornate cards that I would create. I was so thrilled to see this little gadget at HSN. I love the printed formulas that make it so easy to create these envelopes. I love being able to create such amazing envelopes *in the right size*, which has always been an issue for me.
I really like your blog. Thanks for sharing.
