Anyone making an album or project this year? I've attempted to make an album several times over the years and have never finished it once! One year I completed a prompt for all 30 days but didn't get all the photos in (I could still go back and do this).
I love the concept and seeing the projects people are creating online every year.

My November is too jam-packed to add another project but it's something that I've considered doing in the past and would like to tackle one day. I'm doing my first DD this year - maybe next year I'll do the 30 Days of Gratitude instead

I'd like to give it a try! I have 2 years worth of "Thankful" type kits I'd like to use up. I'm considering taking Cathy Zielskes class, but I don't want to burn out right before December Daily.

Is there a list of prompts? I got the FYC kit for it and will be using mostly that to make everything easier.

I'm like you Citygirl, I've taken it on several times and never finished. I love the idea. This year November is too crazy to take it on I think. Maybe next year.

I signed up for Cathy Z's class this year again. I am doing a homemade 3x8 album along w/ her printables.

I did this project one year and really loved working on it. It was my first TN, too, and it seemed to come together quick and easy. But it did put me behind on December Daily, and by the end I was just itching to finish so I could move on to Christmas.
I think it might be fun to try it again another time of year. Maybe in the spring when I could use some pretty florals, maybe a Mother's Day gratitude book focused on my role as a mom, or as a gift to my mom or something.

I'm probably not doing one this year, but the one year I did, I completed it in January. I was able to keep up until we ended up going out of town and then had family here for a lot of the month. I wasn't able to catch back up at that point, but I made sure I finished because I loved that album so much. It's actually 2 6x6 albums because the spines on them are super narrow. I told myself if I do the project again in the future, I'm limiting myself to 1 album and to do that, I'd need to do 1 6x6 instead of 2 per day. Autumn is my favorite season and I find the products easy to use, so it wasn't that hard for me to find the motivation to finish once I got over my biggest hurdle. That hurdle being election day...the results sucked, so I had to switch gears from being thankful for the results to being thankful for the right to vote and the importance of not missing the opportunity to use your voice. After that, it was easier to get the rest of the month done.

I've done it instead of PL pages one year - I just did a 3x4 card with a photo, caption, and number sticker for each day. I think I posted the photo each day on IG to keep up with it. I think I did it in a notebook another year.
I'm not game to do a project in November, even without doing an October Occasionally or a December Daily (I'm not sure what I'm doing for DD/JYC this year). At this rate every month will have a project, which is just too much for me. It might better suit people who love Thanksgiving more than any other holiday - I didn't grow up with Thanksgiving (neither the holiday nor the religious/cultural concept of giving thanks) so it doesn't really resonate with me, even though I can see the value in it.
I might do a journaled gratitude list.

Didn’t worry about having a photo for every page. Sometimes used art journaling, sometimes scrapbook supplies to let colour and design illustrate my journaling. There are a lot of different prompt lists out there. I like THIS ONE

I've always wanted to do this but just don't have the time to do this AND December Daily. Last year I kept track of my "thankfuls" in my planner and meant to do a two page layout but didn't get that done either... maybe this year...

For any of you looking to keep track of your thankfulness for later there are several gratitude journal apps that might be rather handy to have the info later

This is one annual project I give myself permission (guilt free) to say NO to. It’s just too busy, and I prefer doing JYC. I couldn’t do both.

Yes! I'm a bit behind because the kit I'm using took longer to get here than expected, but I'm about halfway through pepping my TN insert for this year's project. I'll finish it up tomorrow. For me, this is more of a faith journaling type project as I journal about a different Bible verse every day. This will be my third year doing it. I don't do December Daily, either, but instead I do an Advent project.
