If you were going to a harvest party and the dresscode was cocktail attire, what would you wear? I’d love to see photos! I’m looking for a vintage dress on Etsy but haven’t found anything in quite the right size — I knew I should have stuck to my plan to lose ten pounds.  I’m leaning towards a 50s style cocktail dress in either black, dark blue, almost any shade of green, or maybe gold or copper if I can find it. The party is Nov 21 so I have some time but not forever, especially if I end up needing something altered. |

That is really cute! And I do love corduroy. I had a pair of vintage Madewell corduroy overalls in high school that I wore well I ton universiry until they pretty much disintegrated.  |

I checked ModCloth and didn’t see anything killer but I’ll look again. I agree your colours are more harvest like but I don’t really look good in reds. So gold/copper was my compromise there |

Any thrift shops in your area? People buy cocktail/party dresses, wear them once or twice and donate. Our stores always have that type of dresses.
