They aren't gargoyles, but they're very cute. Gargoyles are found on the outside of buildings, and are designed to carry water from the roof away from the sides of a building to prevent damp.
I love that they made these, knowing that they wouldn't be seen by many, or even known about, but still put all that work into them. The only way of having a harmless squirrel inside a building!

I knew they were not gargoyles, but had no other name to use in the title.
The article used squirrelgoyles and I knew no one would recognize that word.
