M is sleeping and I am working in my office for the next hour or so. I am going to go fold and put up the wash. Tomorrow is a big day for M he is going to go to the pumpkin patch for the first time. His EHS is doing a daddy event and DH took the time off to go. This is the first time Daddy has been able to do something with the group.
So what are you doing to night?

It's 9.15, I have the day off today and I'm trying to persuade myself to go to the gym rather than sit here pea-ing

I am trying out my new (to me) Macbook Air. My old one broke a year ago, and we couldn't afford to replace it right away. Dh found me a great deal on an Acer and tried to run Ubuntu on it, but that laptop didn't have the RAM and speed I needed for all my artsy projects.
I now get to start working on a family cookbook/memoir album for my mom's family. I have a ton of photos and original recipes to scan into my laptop and add to the book layout software. Maybe I'll even be able to get everything together in time to publish these for Christmas--that will depend on my health, though.
I also washed my two favourite throws tonight. We have another infestation of black fire ants, and they got into the throws by the sofa. We've done the Tarro and borox with sugar, and these ants came back. They're coming in from the walls by the garage, nowhere near the kitchen, but now they're making their way across out living room.
We have to be so careful about where we put traps, etc. because of our cats.
These little bastards hurt like hell and leave huge white centered welts all over. People can become very allergic, so dh is really worried that I might have an allergic reaction. I have been keeping my 2 epi pens in my handbag right beside where I sit.
I've been spending this week propped up in bed during the day because I had some transient paralysis in my back and upper thighs last week, so I've been taking it easy. I'm supposed to finally get to go shopping with my mom on Friday, and I hope that my back doesn't hurt too much. Thankfully a lot of stores have scooters or wheelchairs, but I also try to walk as much as I am able because it's good for me.
Dh recently got a nice bonus from work, and he gave me some extra money to spend on new clothes or whatever I want. I haven't bought new clothes in forever because we've been paying off debt. Now that we've paid it all off, it's so weird to have money to spend.

I know my big desk top die a few weeks ago, I was able to get a netbook off of freecycle however, it can not handle a lot of my programs and work I normal do . I am glad I do not have any customer for them right now.
hope your back in feeling better soon. I had a lot of problems with mine when I was pregnant with M. I could not wait for him to get here so I could move again. The problems have not cleared up 100% even almost a year and a half after. I just spent a week in the chair with a heating pad
Have fun shopping, I have to start christmas shopping soon. I do not enjoy doing it at all.

I decided I'll walk into town shortly to do a little bit of shopping and that'll count - it's about a mile each way with the added benefit of sunshine - so far anyway!!

It's a grey, drizzly morning in this part of England so I've been trying to persuade myself to go out shopping for the past couple of hours. However, DD has the day off tomorrow so maybe I can persuade her to go for a Christmas shopping expedition to the city and have lunch out and just stay in today to do some things and then maybe finish off a project!!

Yesterday and today are the type of days here I just would like to spend the day in PJ's reading a book and drinking some earl gray tea.
There is not even a chance of that Since M is about to start walking he is all over the place.

It would be lovely to spend the day in pj's! We need some bread though so I must at least pop out to the local shop if nothing else. I can imagine how busy M must keep you now that he's starting to walk!

Only time he is not on the go is when he is sleeping, Even then he keeps moving. Night be for last he almost made his way off of our bed, last night he feel asleep on his changing pad and then moved around his room in his sleep. Love the little guy but wow he is just going all the time.
