I’m sorry that you are going through such bad times. I had a lump in my armpit, and it turned out to be a cyst. I remember how scared I was, and then how relieved. I hope that yours turns out the same way.

Prayers for you, I too had an infected cyst in my armpit, hopefully your doctor can remove it safely. Mine was so big it needed to be packed with a dressing to heal from the inside out. My husband was a good guy to do his for me.

Thank you so much ladies. It’s very comforting to know you all are here for me day and night. ❤️
My psychiatrist agreed to try me on a different medication than Effexor since I heard so many bad things about it so I’ll start Lexapro tomorrow. I’m 🙏 it works for me.

My husband was a good guy to do his for me. Yikes! That couldn’t have been fun. Mine is actually very tiny, I only noticed it because it felt tender when I was shaving. It no longer hurts so hopefully that’s a good sign.

I'm sorry you are struggling and will keep you tucked up in my thoughts.
I too had a lump in my armpit that turned out to be a cyst.
As for Effexor, I am sure it works great for some, but if it doesn't work, the coming off of it is brutal. It took me nearly a 2 months to ween off of it and I struggled mightily the whole time. When I finally stopped I still ended up feeling like I had a massive case of the flu.

I would suggest you take one of your (prn) "as needed" Klonopin as it is prescribed since you seem like this is becoming too much. Use the tools your physician has given you, along with other modalities to function. Your body is obviously under a lot of emotional stress, which of course, is exacerbated by lack of sleep. I imagine that while you wait, your mind can go into dark places. Please don't fall into that vicious cycle. Do what you need to do to stay healthy, physically and mentally. I'm a big believer in the mind-body connection.

My psychiatrist asked me why I’m letting myself suffer and take it if I need it. Thank you so much for your advice!

DD had a small lump in her armpit that turned out to be a gnarly coiled up ingrown hair. I hope you are feeling better soon. {Hugs}

Please don't hesitate to take your as needed meds. When my DD was reluctant to take medication for her depression and anxiety, I asked her what she would say if I refused to take my BP and cholesterol medications. She said she'd be upset with me. I asked why her meds were any different. They are to treat a physical problem that affects your mind and emotions.
I am saying prayers for you, my Pea friend, that you find relief from your depression and your lump is just a lump. Hugs.

It can be hard to find the right meds, and I hope you find the right combination soon. My niece worked through several, with me cheering her in, til she found the right one. You will, too.
I’ve had cysts in my armpit from inflamed hair follicles, and sore spots/lumps from fibrocystic. Try not to worry too much as you wait.

I stress myself out about taking them but when I actually do I feel Like I can breathe again. You make complete sense and I’m going to take it when I need it. I’m prescribed a low dose (.5mg) once a day and it takes the edge off.

I’m so sorry you are going thru this.
After my DH’s stroke, I had horrific panic attacks, especially at night. His stroke most likely happened at night, so I stayed hyper alert and sleep was almost impossible. A month post-stroke and he was doing great but I was a basket case with the panic and anxiety eating at me.
At DH’s primary visit, the dr, who is also my primary, turned to me and asked how I was doing, what was going on with me since I looked so stressed. DH told him and he wrote me a prescription right then for Xanax and told me to use it. I fought another week before I finally took one. BEST. SLEEP. EVER. I took one each night and any time I felt the panic coming on for about a week. The sleep and peace were enough to replenish my reserves and I was able to understand that I needed to speak with a therapist to work on my anxiety issues.
I didn’t have the type of anxiety that you have, but what I did have was crippling when combined with the lack of sleep. If you have dealt with it for this long, you must be really badass, but I hope you will be able to use the as needed meds as you need them from here on.
Take care, Marcy

I'm so glad you took it and it helped. So glad! Let us know how you get on, and please don't let it get to that point again, now that you know it helps.
OK I just re-read that and it sounds pretty garbled. But I'm sure you know what I mean! Big hugs
