And damn it I have to go to work! I wish they had released it yesterday when I had the day off and zero motivation to be productive.
I can’t decide what I want to watch first tonight.

My Dh leaves today for a business trip to Portugal and has made me promise not to watch any The Mandalorian until he gets back, otherwise I’d be all over that. Kristen Bell’s new series where she has high school musical casts from up to 40 years ago get back together for 1 week and put on their original musical again sounds pretty interesting. I will probably watch the new live-action Lady and the Tramp with ds2 this evening.

And once again Disney tech screws the pooch.....you would think with all their money they could get the whole website/internet thing actually working properly for them!
turns out I can't stream on my ipad - it's too old. Our PS4 is down for the count and PS3 is not supported. I refuse to watch on my little iphone screen.
So I'm trying to stream on my laptop. Using Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.
Nada, zip zero.
I get to the movie screen, click on a movie title, and get a movie description. No Play button. On my phone? Yes! But not on my new laptop.
SUPER frustrated this morning!!

And I'm sorry -but I refuse to believe it is simply because SO many are trying to access it at the moment. Netflix and Prime don't seem to have this issue when they release new things. Only Disney seems to have glitches when so many are trying.

Not everyone is interested in whatever netflix and company are releasing. But Disney + is so massive that everyone wants to look at it.

FYI, I’ve been seeing commercials for Verizon that says if you have an unlimited plan, you can get Disney + for free for one year, in case any of you want to check it out).

I can't get it to work. I have got about 10 password requests on the account. I think someone was trying to hack into my account. I finally got in and changed the password, and now I can't get past the make a profile page.

Watching "Apple Dumpling Gang" right now! I got the app to work on my tablet which is where I'm watching the movie. That was all done before the west coast went live though! I've only been able to install the app on my TV and phone, but I haven't been able to get past logging in.

I just called. This is ONLY for new accounts (or maybe upgrades). However they are concurrently running a different promotion and she re-upped the same exact plan I have and it’s costing me $20 less per month. Better than free Disney+! So call! ETA I checked the app since everyone else said it’s free. I ended up getting it free too. I guess the girl just didn’t know.

I’m glad you saved a bunch, though...that will add up.

We got it free for a year thru our very old Verizon plan cause we have unlimited data. One account up to four devices can be on it at a time! My Son who has his own plan was up at 5am and was having a ton of problems with it and I think it was cause so many people where on at the same time. He too was anxious to see the Mandalorian. I just hoped on and had zero problems.

My DH was really excited about it, so I signed up for a two-week trial this morning and sent him the login information. He will be giddy. He's a huge Disney fan.

I am trying to figure out how to signup for it w/Hulu. We already have Hulu so it would be nice to just bundle it together. But I don't see that option in my account, I see add-ons for everything else though.

Looks like you may get cash back plus $ towards your next device.

It's not working great at my house. I just started trying. Big surprise, they are taking after Amazon on their Black Friday in July sales.

I’m sorry everyone is having so many problems! We got it working on our Apple TV and two different iPads this morning with no problems at all, but it was at 5:30 am EST before the West Coast was up. Dh, while getting ready for his flight, managed to find the time to surf around on it a bit an hour ago, but we were already logged on. PolarGreen12, how is the Jeff Goldblum show? huskermom98, last night I was reading a list of all the movies that would be available on day 1, sharing the choice ones with Dh. We were both excited about the Apple Dumpling Gang - it was such an iconic movie during our childhoods and we haven’t seen it since! I’m one of the ones who paid for 3 years in advance, so no billing for us for a while. Given our family, we will get $4.25 per month’s use out of it, which is what the deal worked out to. For some families, I can see it not being worth the $6.99 it is now, but we are all about the Marvel Universe, Star Wars, Pixar, and assorted other Disney, so we would pay that easily.

I think this might be a stupid question but in order to get it on our tv's (one is a smart tv, the other one we have a fire stick) what do we do? Will we automatically have the app, or do we have to download something?

I haven't done it yet, but I researched this a bit this morning. You sign up for the Hulu combo through the Disney+ site, not Hulu, using your same Hulu login. They credit your Hulu account from there. Let me know how it works out. I'm going to give it a try later.

My ODS was going to sign up for D+ yesterday. I told him I planned on doing the bundle with Hulu. He said he has been looking into this since he thought HE was paying for Hulu(sorry dude it is me) and it appears you can't bundle it with the No Ads version. I gave him my sign on stuff and he was looking into it. He says there is some way to do it and you get a credit back from either D+ or Hulu for $5.99 which allows you to upgrade to the no ads version. My head was spinning as I didn't quite understand what he was saying, hopefully you were able to understand what I typed. All that to ask which version of Hulu do you have? I will say, ODS had a fun time setting up the profiles and the Disney characters for each member of the family. I am Pua, the pig from Moana. I loved that little thing and he said it was my dog in pig form. Ok, I'll take it.
