I am searching for light blue (not royal, cobalt, turquoise, aqua or Tiffany blue) Christmas balls and accents.
I want glass ball ornaments, not shatterproof, plastic ornaments.
I have checked Michaels, HobLob, Target, Kohls, Walmart, Home Depot , and several specialty boutiques. I have spent hours searching online.
Has anyone seen this color in any Christmas decor collections?
Thanks for any advice.

For the balls, if you cant find what you are looking for you could buy the clear glass balls and fill them with acrylic paint, swirl them around, and then let the excess drain. That way you can have the exact blue you are looking for.

i tried that last year and for some reason the paint wouldn't stick. idk why. but if it works it is a good idea!

At Home has a teal collection and a light blue collection.

Whoops-read the OP too fast and saw that you DON'T want teal. But they DO have light blue. But I don't remember if they have that specific item you're looking for.

i tried that last year and for some reason the paint wouldn't stick. idk why. but if it works it is a good idea! You could make these glitter glass ornaments using pledge solution and glitter. link They turn out beautifully. I make them every year for teachers gift. |

Thanks for all the suggestions. I hesitate to order online because the color is never quite what I visualize. I may just resort to blue ribbon (which I have in the perfect shade) to bring out that color.
Ironically, I had the perfect shade of blue. They are now on my sister in laws' tree. When I moved a couple years ago and downsized she took all my colored bulbs. (and since I changed my color themes every year for 20+ years, I had a lot of variety!). Perhaps I should just go strip her tree?
