Unfortunately I have the exact same skills cadoodlebug! I've been in boring meetings all morning. Gives me time to respond to all my birthday wishes today which is nice. Tonight I'm having dinner with my craft group girls. We are going to one of my favorite local restaurants. |

Good morning all! Happy birthday, jeremysgirl! Enjoy your day and banana cake- the recipe looked so good I want to make it but I also don’t need it here tempting me! Lol Pickleball was really fun last night! Dh and I leave for vacation tomorrow bright and early so dinner tonight is clearing out the fridge. We’ve got leftover Cioppino, taco meat, and pork chops and scalloped potatoes . Those things go together, right? Lol |

Happy Birthday jeremysgirl. I’d eat cake for breakfast everyday if I could. I even have a tshirt & wall print with that on it. Enjoy your banana cake! Dh got the dumpster bag this weekend then scheduled pick up for tomorrow. So I’m madly cleaning out the garage & basement. 70% is going to be donated or brought to hazardous waste drop off. I hope your appointment goes well scrapmaven. Dinner is salmon & veggies. Haven’t determined how they will be cooked yet. |

Have a good appointment scrapmaven. Thanks for starting the thread for us today cadoodlebug. Happy Happy Happy Birthday jeremysgirl !!! 🎂🎉🎈 Today ds has private therapy. Before that I want to get some laundry done including ds' stuffed animals. Try to do that 2x a month. Sadie has her Cytopoint injection today at the vet and I will ask for Apoquel for carry over that really helped a lot! I also want to scrapbook today. Dinner will be turkey burgers on my griddle, fries in the air fryer, and watermelon slices. I will also steam some broccoli and asparagus for me. |

Hoping all goes well for you today scrapmaven!  Happy happy birthday to you jeremysgirl!  Here is a photo of me and Molly and Emma at the Calgary Stampede Evening Show last night ... it was pretty good ... the fireworks were amazing!  I took my mum to her surgery this morning ... not sure if she will get out tomorrow or the next day ... the cats are tolerating each other  I'm not sure what dinner will be tonight ... something takeout I'm sure because I will be doing a lot of cooking when my mum is here  |

DH is undecided if he's coming back from the ranch, so dinner is sependent upon that. I am trying to get back into healthy mode, but need to make snacks for vacation in the next day or so too. I have cooked chicken and chicken stock in the fridge. Fortunately the weather has cooled way down, so we can have chicken noodle (or maybe matzoh ball) soup tonight. I also have three overripe bananas, and now I want banana cake … Happy birthday, jeremysgirl! Hope your mom is okay, leannec. I missed what’s happening with her, but I’m sure you’ll take good care of her while she recovers. Have a great vacation, paget. |

His family always loves and appreciates my baked goods. And Jeremy won't eat it. And I've got one kid (the oldest) swearing she's never going to see me again (the drama with that one)...and the other who is watching her weight. I was up early and got in a good 2.5 mile walk. On days I tutor, I sit all.day.long and I need to get my steps in early. Other than tutoring, not much going on today. DH's dinner will be beef stroganoff or veggie fried rice. (So thankful for a DH who enjoys leftovers!) I'll be eating peaches and blueberries. I could copy/paste my dinner every day this week. Can't get enough of these juicy, fresh peaches. Many happy birthday returns for jeremysgirl. Everyday you keep us laughing, admiring your baking skills, and always encourage us to think of others. You make our tribe a bright place. |

Thanks ... she's having knee surgery so she'll be with me for at least a week and can't drive for six weeks so I'll be doing a lot for her ... I'm not a great caretaker so I hope we survive this! |

Good luck today scrapmavenFunny story...I fell down at work yesterday when I was watering our flowers out front (I do this everyday, it is not something new). My heel hit the space between the parking lot and sidewalk and I went down! I asked this morning if we have a camera out there, we do. I said if you want a good laugh, lets find me out there. I DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Oh my, it is the funniest thing. I recorded it on my phone to show it around. I I have just a small scrap on my elbow, my foot did hurt yesterday but it is good today. Yes, I am glad I wasn't hurt, but this video! LOL |

Boy do I have *skills*! Oh me too! And when I had my cold last week, I was able to really refine my skills with all the coughing and sneezing etc I was doing! Happy birthday jeremysgirl, I hope your day is wonderful. scrapmaven I hope you appointment goes well today. leannec what a gorgeous photo of those two girls and their sister! scrappert I would LOVE to see that video of you falling down, I need a good laugh! For dinner I made beef curry puffs, and I also tried a new recipe. Another one from Marion of course. Spicy Garlic Butter Linguini. OMG it was amazing! leannec you're a garlic lover, I think this one is right up your alley. Seriously. We ate waaaaaaaay to much of it and felt a bit sick for the rest of the night, but it was totally worth it. If you make it, you really need to make the garlic oil with the crispy garlic chips as well, and sprinkle them on top - they were the hero of the dish. |
