I've never seen a bolt stick up like that on a toilet!

Tacky? No. They aren’t awful like the fabric toilet lid covers, or rugs, but I have no interest in covering a toilet bolt that I never even see in the first place, just to draw attention to it. 🤷🏻♀️

The bolts are usually covered with a white cap, so it’s really a solution in search of a problem.

Interesting. 🤨
We recently remodeled our bathrooms and didn’t want to put holes in the wall or vanity so we got toilet paper stands. But they aren’t like that lol.
I hate cleaning around the toilet bolts. Anyone else?

Things I never thought about decorating. Don't think I'll start, but thanks for sharing! The sheep did make me giggle.

I've never seen a bolt stick up like that on a toilet! That's because it is always covered with a cap.

They also make those for your tires on your car. Instead of the little black cap, you can get decorative ones. Somehow my husband lost one of our regular ones and ended up with a tiny blue dice he found on the ground. /boggle

I've never seen a bolt stick up like that on a toilet! Me neither! Our bolts are all flush (see what I did there?) with the ceramic.

Ugh. It’s hard enough to keep the bathroom clean. I can’t imagine trying to clean those bolt covers.
Hard pass for me!

I've never seen a bolt stick up like that on a toilet! Me neither! Our bolts are all flush (see what I did there?) with the ceramic. How do you unscrew the bolt if you have to repair the toilet? On my toilet, I have 2 plastic white caps that fit over the bolts to hide them. I think that is enough. Easy to clean. While I love the turtles, I think they would be way harder to keep clean than the plastic dome caps that came with the toilet.

If I had to keep the spare toilet paper outside of the cabinet I do like the toilet paper fabric covers. I’m not running out to buy them. Everything else is a hard pass. I don’t need to throw out my money.

Those toilet paper covers aren't the worst thing I've ever seen, and the sheep one is actually funny. I was expecting the link to show the vintage crocheted tp covers of the 70s like these below.

No to the decorative toilet bolts. Didn’t know that was a thing. The white covers that came with our toilet matches the white of the bowl and blend right in. Why call attention to them? lol!
My aunt used to crochet covers for the toilet rolls. She gave us one. I thanked her and put it in the closet. lol! That sheep is cute though. I think of that as more of a holder than a cover, and I might use that for the spare roll.

I don't need something more complicated to clean. I don't need to draw my guests eyes down around the toilet.
Yes, those dolls and poodles are what I was thinking of! When we have people over I either just place an extra roll on the counter or back of toilet. Or I will remove the partially used roll and replace it with a brand new roll.

Yes, tacky, and probably created by a person who does fridgescaping.

For me a hard no. Drawing attention to the toilet with cutesy stuff is not my thing.

uh... both are a hard NO from me. I do not have the energy to wrap my toilet paper for display. And the bolt decorations are just places to collect more dust, hair and be harder to clean around the toilet. eta: The sheep holders are cute but again, I don't want to spare energy on inserting sheep parts, then what doe guests do with the parts if they needed to get a roll? Toss em in the sink? I'll stick to the small basket on the vanity that holds two rolls so guests don't have to figure out where the extra paper is or what to do with cutesy parts after taking the paper off

I have never heard of a toilet bolt. I wouldn't waste money on something like that.
Toilet paper roll covers. I seen them before. Very cute idea! With the large amount of water I consume daily (meaning going to the bathroom a lot), covering toilet paper rolls would be a regular chore....and I am not adding that to my chore list.

My mom had one of those dolls that hides a toilet paper roll that an elderly friend crocheted for her back in the 70’s. I don’t know what happened to it. I just keep the extra rolls in the cabinet next to the toilet. We have big cabinets in our bathrooms so each one will hold one of those giant packs of mega XL rolls. As for the bolt covers, hard pass on that. I hate cleaning toilets with a passion so there’s no way I’m going to make that job harder.

No to the bolt covers! No to the crocheted dolls and poodles of days gone by.
We have been looking at a way to house a few extra rolls and had seen the sheep before but it’s a bit too cute for our decor.

The sheep TP stands were cute.
If we entertained. I’d maybe consider the paper TP wrappers if there were disposable hand towels that matched just to be extra.
We have exposed bolts on our toilet - I have no idea what happened to the caps that were there. I do hate cleaning around them but I don’t see getting a decorative item to cover the bolt.

I just have the plain white plastic caps over the bolts. Definitely does look nicer to not see the bolt but I am not the kind of person that would go out of my way to buy decorative ones.
