Anyone hurt themselves while scrapping? I did! On Friday, I cut myself with my mini trimmer. Ouch!

Yes. I’ve sliced a finger or two with my trimmer, especially the new TH one that the blade carriage doesn’t lay flush to the base. I also stabbed my thumb with my cutterbee scissors - those things are SHARP!

Ouch! I’m sure I’ve sliced myself with my sharp scissors, maybe an exacto. But I’ll take that any day over a paper cut! I can’t remember any specific mishaps, will have to ask my husband.

Those quickutz metal dies were my nemesis for many a year, back in the day...

I use to try picking stuck paper from the old big Sizzix dies. Always cut my finger tips on them. I finally wised up and used twisters or a metal pick to get them out.😂

I had a set of dies that came attached to each other. I hate that. I started cutting and I’d cut a couple. I reached for one I hadn’t trimmed yet and stabbed my finger, which bled. Ouch!. Can’t companies switch to the pre-cut dies anchored with two sided tape?
And then there was the pink Quickutz squeeze tool. I’d never use one of their tools before. I held it too close and it squished one of the girls a bit.

Oh no! Ouch.
The other day I was sticking the pin into my Bearly Art glue to clear a clog and missed, stabbed my finger really hard!

Just last week I rammed my pokey tool into my finger! Didn't realize they were that sharp to be able to stab into my finger, but I guess they are!

My only "injury" is from re-arranging my scrapbook area. I have (4) 2 x 3 BHG cube units. A re-arrange usually includes moving and re-arranging other pieces of furniture as well. I am in a studio apt, so one thing leads to another. My back, neck and arm muscles are not happy when I re-arrange. They usually hurt and ache for a few days. I know better, and I do it anyways.

for me it's mostly paper piercing injuries. about 28 years ago, i had a pretty bad glue gun incident. i don't know how it happened but the HOT glue gun flipped into the air and swiped my inner forearm on it's way down. that tip dragged the skin and that was not a fun burn.

Toward the back of one pair of scissors I own is really sharp, and I've drawn blood from that (not a ton). I always seem to get the pokey edges of die cuts under my finger nails.
