It's called The Carbonara Effect? It's on TruTV on Comcast.
It's a hidden camera magic show by Michael Carbonaro. It's based in Atlanta in an area I'm familiar with. It's hilarious.
Michael is so good and fools everyone. Last night he was a clerk in a phone store. A lady walked in and told him she hated her phone and it didn't work well. He told her it probably just had s bug in it. He took the back off, shook the phone and a huge Palmetto bug fell out. She was hysterical and screaming. He's so calm and just said this happens all the time.
I was LOL!!! Watch it sometime.

It's one of our fav's - he's so natural and likable - and GOOD! Can't figure out how he does some of that stuff. The cake in the box with the lit candles still blows my mind.

We love that show at our house! I think we've seen every episode so far. There's a "behind the scenes" type episode where he shows the people's reactions when they find out it's just magic, and one lady calls him on his explanation of the "Carbonaro Effect" that's causing the magic. His response to her cracked me up- he didn't quite know what to say!
We like that it's clean and family-friendly.

My former SIL got caught on that show. I can find the episode but the first time I saw it was hilarious. She really fell for his trick.
