I'm looking for some nice leggings that are warm, thick, comfy, have a slimming waist that stays put. Would be great if they came in petite sizes but that isn't a must. What are your favorite brands/styles?

My Costco leggings are pretty thick. Almost more of a Pointe pant. I love fleece lined leggings. I found some cheap ones on clearance last year at Walgreens of all places. I've seen them elsewhere. I like lularoe but not sure they will be heavy enough for me in winter.

You want the opposite of what I want in leggings (I want them thin, but not sheer, buttery soft, and cool), so I'm no help.

If you want patterned leggings, Walmart has a boatload of them in fun patterns ($5.88). Even this 64-year-old likes them...

Loft, J.Jill, J.Crew are my favorites. I have some from Gap that have worn well but the waist isn't as high. I'm 5'0 - and like the petite option as well. I bought a fleece lined pair of tights (definitely not leggings!) at Anthropologie a few years ago. Last year, Meijer had lined leggings in the athletic department.

Costco here! They fit well, they are comfortable and they are cheap. If I thought they were junk I wouldn't buy them, but compared to my Lululemon leggings Costco's wins hands down. My Lululemon ones pill something awful and look terrible. Lululemon's are 5x the cost, too. Seriously.

Soft would be good if they are not sheer. I also need them to be fairly warm. I got some fleece lined ones last year and they are ok, but not perfect.
I saw some at old navy recently that seemed like they may fit the bill, but I would like some reviews since they are about $25.
What brand are the Costco leggings? Sams club has some that look soft but they say "relaxed fit" and I'm not sure what exactly that means with leggings. Lol

I do have several pairs of LulaRoe. They are $25 plus tax plus shipping. There are prints that I just can't resist sometimes. However, IMO, they are very similar to the $3.78 leggings at Walmart (the ones marked "seamless" and made of the silky material, not cottony). The difference in quality is not big enough to justify the difference in price.

I just bought some Danskin leggings from Walmart and they are super comfy and a nice weight. I did notice that not all colours had the same fibre content. I bought the black ones.

Yep I bought Hue leggings because everyone was talking about them. After having them for 3 years, the black is starting to fade a bit so I need a new pair. link

I just buy Luluroe now because they're so soft and comfy. It's still too hot out here to wear them for fall but I'm looking forward to it!

Vera Wang at Kohl's (the only reason I go into the store). Are these in the accessories section? Or in the clothing section? I usually find them near underwear, so accessories I suppose. Some are folded up with the label wrapped around them and some hang on a side wall on little black hangers. Her jeggings should be nearby as well. I don't know what the current selection is, but I've gotten them in plain black and brown, a faux suede, denim, and a black on dark gray snakeskin pattern. I am petite and a large gal and they fit me great, no waste band rolling down, constantly pulling the ends back into place, etc.. Only leggings or jeggings that I own... I wait until they are on sale and then stock up. YMMV

My favorite pair are haunted mansion wallpaper leggings that I got from a site called dysfunctional doll, however they're a little lopsided, but I get tons of compliments. Check eBay they have tons of fleece lined leggings which would be just too hot for the climate I live in, but you might find ones you like.

Girlfriend Collective!!
They are a startup and they were giving away leggings for free (maybe with the cost of shipping) months ago, kind of in a Kickstarter phase. I finally got them in the mail and they are awesome. They are tight in the waistband to get them on BUT once they are on, they are like a second skin. Very compression-y. So soft and hold the tummy in. Also they are thick and don't sheer out around the butt. Even though I got mine for free, I'd buy them for sure.

I don't wear them. But my 15 year old DD loves the Nike athletic leggings. She likes them because they are thicker & not see thru. Plus they have some structure/support.

HUE
They come in so many varieties. Even my girls love them - I got them the black cord. I usually buy them at maceys in the states, at the Bay in Canada.
